My Self-Summary

I'm a nerd. I watch cartoons, I play video games, I built my own computer, etc... But I do some cool things too. I stay in good shape. I play in old man softball leagues during the summer. I love going to batting cages. I play the bagpipes. I am pretty relaxed in general; I don't get worked up over petty things. I am agnostic or atheist, depending on your definition of those words. I am disillusioned by politics, I usually say I am moderate when people ask me but I tend to vote Democrat when it comes time to pull the trigger.

I am a graduate student at Stony Brook. I currently live in Islip Terrace. If you live anywhere near either of those or somewhere in between, and you think I am interesting, then talk to me.

What I’m doing with my life

In a a masters program right now. Will eventually work in medicine as a specialized technician.

I’m really good at

Learning new things. I occasionally become curious about things and I make it a point to learn as much as possible. Wikipedia and Google are two of my favorite tools.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I don't particularly enjoy reading books. I prefer to read non-fiction materials which is usually in the form of electronic articles.

Movies: Fight Club, Snatch, Die Hard, Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction

Music: Tool, Opeth, Stone Temple Pilots, Matisyahu, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Massive Attack, Thievery Corporation, Gunther

Food: Sushi, Curry, Mexican, Pizza. I am not very fussy about food, I will try almost anything. Shellfish, and blue cheese are the only two foods I can think of that I hate.

The six things I could never do without

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Everything. I am constantly thinking. The economy, the origins of the universe, other people, whats for lunch... I am not the sort of person who can zone out into nothingness. If you see me and I seem unresponsive, I am probably deep in thought about something.

On a typical Friday night I am

Maybe going out for a few drinks with some buds, maybe watching a hockey or baseball game, maybe hiding in my room watching cartoons.
