My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
While hiking in the Mahatma Gandhi Rainforest, I ran into a large sign, "Tiger Trail" with a sketch of a family pointing in awe at tiger tracks. Curious, I jumped the "Permanently Closed" blockade and found a nearby pond and sat down and read. A local from the slums later informed I was reading at the Tiger watering hole.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm starting a company that helps organizations become more empathetic. I can talk for hours about why poor instructions ruined the board game industry, LEGO fails at including mothers in play, and classical concerts fail to engage new listeners. I obsess over helping people become human centric.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
According to my dissertation I'm supposed to be good at, "Ambulatory Psychophysiology applied to Design", a topic I knew would be hot on Okcupid. I tend to be a positive ball of energy wherever I am with an insatiable drive to change the world.

I can also make a mean bowl of cereal.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Be warned, I have a pretty loud laugh. Yesterday, these two computer scientist kept turning around at me every time I laughed at a Big Data conference. Who said numbers can't be funny?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
The book I'm reading next is called "Wired to Care" - I find it so fascinating how emotions influence decisions. Reading wise, Game of Thrones is still one of my favorites, but the Golden Compass and Phantom Tollbooth will always have my heart.

Anyone else excited to see the LEGO movie?

Board Game: I've been playing this new coop game called Robinson Crusoe - you have to survive on an island for 8 days, and you have about a 90% chance of dying. I've also really enjoyed Resistance, Eclipse, and Mage Wars recently.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Right now, I'm in the middle of reading about empathy, ethnographic methods, and classical concerts. This morning in the shower, I had a full out argument with myself about why single subject experiments should be appreciated more. As I'm about to graduate, there's a lot of "what to do next" thoughts in there too.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
A group of four or five of us huddle around a wood table, drink a few beers, and play a board game or two. On a not, so typical night, I might even win one.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
In the picture of me from Tough Mudder, I'm still freaking out after being electrocuted, face first in the mud. I went completely unconscious and had some really strange thoughts about a refrigerator. For about two days, I had a phobia to water as I was afraid I was going to be shocked again.
