My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello! I'm Matt. I enjoy watching sports, shooting at the gun range, hanging around the pool, or just hanging out with friends cooking out. I'm a pretty simple, easy going kind of guy. I enjoy going out and hearing live music too, especially local bands. I also love all things aviation and would like to learn more about photography as well. I'm a firm believer that life is all about who you're with, not what you're doing.

I'm probably a bit unusual for a guy, but I'm a sucker for romance and the little signs of affection. I'm the guy that loves making his special lady smile and feel special. I value the importance of a “good morning” text or a random ones during the day just to tell you I'm thinking of you. I'll even hold doors open for you! Shocking, isn't it? Call me old fashioned if you want but I'm okay with that.

On a first date I prefer somewhere we can interact and talk to get acquainted. Isn't that the whole point of a date? Bowling, dinner, a walk in the park, even walking around the mall window shopping can be fun. You can't have a conversation in a movie. A drink with dinner is okay, but if you're looking to go to a bar just to get drunk, especially on a first date, then we probably won't get along too well. The first date is about getting to know each other and the activities of the evening should revolve around that.

Sound like someone you'd like to get to know? Let's chat, we've got nothing to lose!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm the operations manager for an air freight delivery business that keeps me busy. It can be hard to get out in the dating scene so I thought I would give this whole “online dating” thing a try. The past few years have been great and it is only getting better. I have realized the importance of eating healthy and getting into the best shape of my life. I've changed a lot over the last two years and try to continue making myself a better person every day. Meeting someone that is interested in going to the gym and working out would be a plus too, though it certainly isn't a deal breaker.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Management and finances. I'm usually not one to lose my cool and I'm always one to step up and solve issues in a time of crisis. I'm very good with directions and can find ANYTHING anywhere. It comes with the job territory I guess.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My maturity. Sometimes people think I'm older than I really am. That was cool when I was younger but let's face it, at 30 no one really wants to rush getting older.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Music - I'm really not picky about music. I feel like every genre of music has it's time and it's mood. I was in band in high school and always loved symphony type music. Usually I prefer country music, but I prefer hip hop and rap when I'm working out. I need something to get me fired up! I would love to go to a performance but it's not exactly easy to find people my age interested in such things. I'm not really a big fan of religious music, though.

Books - I've never been one to read books very often. I do enjoy books and magazines about topics I'm interested in such as flying, weather, and most recently photography.

Television - Television often confuses me. I haven't gotten into the whole "Walking Dead" addiction. Oddly enough, I like things like the History Channel, HGTV (ideas for the new house), etc. Nerdy, I know, but I like learning things I'll probably never need to know! Nerds are hot anyways though, right?
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) Computer/Internet - This is very important to me running my business and keeping track of finances. What did we ever do without modern technology?

2) Cell Phone - Again, an essential part of business and my daily life. I'll admit I'm a bit addicted to text messaging.

3) A Vehicle - There's really nothing interesting within walking distance of where I live.

4) Friends - Sometimes you just need someone to talk to and have fun with. I'd go crazy without my friends!

5) Food/Water - Well, for the obvious slow, painful death reasons.

6) Money - Pretty hard to function in modern society without it.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
A little bit of everything really. Just whatever is going on in my life at that particular time.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At home watching a movie, television, or just relaxing and sometimes hanging out with friends listening to local bands. We're all working adults here so sometimes it's hard to get everyone together though. I love live music but not really into the bar/club thing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Not really any dirty little secrets. It may be a bit boring but I don't really have a dark past. I'm an open book once we get acquainted.

You're looking for a mature, stable person who knows what they want out of life. I'd love to find someone to date in hopes of it turning into a relationship someday. We only have one life to live and I'd love to find someone special to share it with. Random hookups need not apply.
