My self-summary
I am the kind of guy who doesn't really care what anyone thinks. I care about my friends and my family, no matter how much they drive me nuts. I love movies and comic books. Sitting on the couch with my feet up is one of my favourite things to do, but at times I do enjoy a little adventure, going for walks without really knowing why are fun.
I like intelligent women, tends to mean intellectual communication, something I haven't really found very often.
I ramble and I like it that way. I will listen though. I hate being interrupted, though.
I enjoy driving, windows down and music blasting, but winter's coming, so keeping warm comes first.
Speaking of driving, my family has a knack for driving me crazy, every damn day, I love them sure, but it's impossible to be around them 24/7 without needing some form of psychiatric help after a while.
What I’m doing with my life
Finishing off my college diploma in Graphic Design at Mohawk in Hamilton. Currently also running my own small business, Devilish Ink.
Trying to keep my head above water, figuratively speaking.
I am also kind of an amateur philosopher, I've theorized that "normal" is based on a consensus of what and how people should act and do certain things. In short I have surmised there is no real definitive proof that any one person can be normal. We all have our own odd eccentricities, be it the way we pronounce certain words (I knew a girl who pronounced "frustrating" as "fluscerating"), or the way we eat ice cream (a person I worked with called me weird for stating there is no such thing as normal. After explaining my stance, I asked her how she ate her ice cream. She said she chewed it. Answer: Uncommon).
I also think about the nature of things, it's quite enlightening.
I’m really good at
I'd say cooking (years of experience working as a line cook), drawing, writing, grammar, movie trivia, etc. I can also most likely drink you under the table. Definitely good at remembering important things. I can do a wide range of accents and impersonations, if you're interested, ask. I am something of an actor and comedian. I make light of situations that are not necessarily good (last time I had a car accident, I joked with my dad and the police officer that it was a good thing we had just got the new insurance slips in the car. My father was none too pleased about that. Accident wasn't my fault, just so everyone is aware. I was sideswiped by an F-150)
I'm amazing at pointing out bad grammar, left, right and centre. You'll know whether I like you if I correct you constantly.
My skills include talking for hours about anything from politics to religion to what's in mayonnaise. I would say I'm a jack of all trades, I know how to do many things.
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile, I would think, usually am smiling almost 24/7. Some have said I have very soft hair, so that might be something too, I'm unsure. I like to talk, and not really about the most generic stuff, but things that are actually interesting and may challenge you intellectually and even spiritually if you're into that sort of stuff. I also hate shaving, so obviously I would have some form of facial hair at all times. I've been called a smart-ass due to my extended vocabulary which I use to fullest extent possible in my everyday conversations.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Love Alfred Hitchcock, Clint Eastwood, Steven Spielberg, etc.
I have a special love for old black and white films, including, but not limited to, The Maltese Falcon, Frankenstein, The Big Sleep, Breakfast at Tiffany's and so on. Mel Brooks holds a special place in my heart, as does Monty Python.
Favourite shows include Dexter, The Newsroom, The Sopranos, Scooby Doo, Game of Thrones, Modern Family, The Simpsons, etc.
Books vary, I'll read anything, but I enjoy mystery novels and science fiction. Philip K Dick, Stephen King and Agatha Christie are among my favourite authors. Also like some non-fiction like The Evolution of God, or The Origin of Species. Kind of nerdy, but I love comic books and graphic novels, Spider-man, The Goon, Watchmen, Potter's Field by Mark Waid, Fables, etc.
Also love plays, favourites include Arsenic and Old Lace, Amadeus, Wizard of Oz, Joyful Noise.
Musical favourites include but are not limited to Death Cab for Cutie, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Young The Giant, Hey Rosetta!, Muse, Mutemath, k-os, The Shins, Polar Bear Club, Radiohead, Linkin Park, Arctic Monkeys, Pink Floyd, Arkells, Neutral Milk Hotel, Metric, Said The Whale, Frank Sinatra, Charlie Parker, Wynton Marsalis, Brand New, Adele, ABBA, Beck, Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Beethoven, Handel, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The New Pornographers, OMC, Skrillex and Deadmau5. I have 200 GB of music.
The six things I could never do without
my computer
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Nothing at all, literally my mind goes from one thing to another almost instantaneously, I start thinking about one thing and then it goes on to something else and continues onward until I run right back to where I started and take a different path.
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually at home... My social life livens up on weekends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I cried during Toy Story 3. But wait, there's more! Just ask if you want to know anything more embarrassing.

Also, I am not a robot, though if you feel that because I use proper grammar that makes me one, then shove off.
You should message me if
If you find me at all interesting in any way possible or if you're bored of not talking to anyone on here.
