I am fun, considerate, and good people.

My Self-Summary

I'm a 26-year-old Bay Area native, enjoying my newest stint in San Francisco. I consider myself good-natured, down-to-earth, quick-witted, silly, curious, opinionated, and fun, among other things. I work hard and like to be challenged; I respect a seriousness of purpose, almost as much as I appreciate not taking one's self too seriously.

I'm a very social person; I'm super talkative; I like to spend time with my good friends; and I enjoy meeting new people. I'm usually down for a good time, and I enjoy bon vivants and irreverent folk. I also like people who know themselves, who are analytically minded, and who can carry on a good conversation.

What I’m doing with my life

For the last several months, I've been working in marketing for a tech/CE company based in SF. I'm fortunate to be employed by an innovative company that's doing well despite the doom-and-gloom environment out there. I've been back in San Francisco for a little less than a year after having spent a year-and-a-half living and working in Buenos Aires.

I like this city a lot and plan to be here for a while. Although I definitely consider SF home, I elude any one subgroup of San Francisco gays. I'd love to meet others who aren't easily typified.

I’m really good at

...accomplishing what I want to (when I want to); finding pleasure in the company of most other people (with some definite exceptions); working hard when I need to and not working hard when I want to; trying new things; expressing myself; listening to others; enjoying it all.

The first things people usually notice about me

That I'm witty, dry, engaged, and sweet; that I get it.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Movies: "All About Eve" "Chinatown" "The Third Man" "JFK" "La Mala Educación ("Bad Education")

Music (a mixture of what I'm currently into and what I'm always into): Rilo Kiley; The Magnetic Fields; Madonna; Billy Joel; Fleet Foxes; Final Fantasy; Fleetwood Mac; Belle & Sebastian; Rufus Wainwright; Abba; Cyndi Lauper; The Hidden Cameras; The National; Cut Copy

Books: Wish I had more time to read. Recently read: "And the Band Played On" and "Dreams from My Father"

Food: I love good food and drink. And I enjoy almost all types of food. I love good seafood (from salmon to shellfish to sushi). Few things beat a good burger (with bacon and blue cheese...heaven). I eat salad about 5 times a week. There are few vegetables I don't adore. I love wine and well-made cocktails. (I own a lime squeezer and a lemon squeezer. I have a jar of simple syrup in the fridge...want a home-made margarita?)

The six things I could never do without

Good company, good food and beverages, good sex, good times, good values, good people.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Politics (I read way too much political news/blogs; I come home drunk and watch old political speeches; I had an electoral-map cake made for a party this past November); my job; the important people in my life; today.

On a typical Friday night I am

out, having fun, with others, not worrying about much.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm not that private. You'll probably find that if you get to know me.

You should message me if

I think I've given a good sense of who I am and what I'd be interested in. Say hi if you'd like to.
