I am hilarious, awesome, and great.

My Self-Summary

I am really great at tons of things, mainly everything. I like to do things that are awesome and I also have the best opinions which are also always correct. I am a smart, intelligent, nigh-invulnerable person.

Aside from the rhetoric there, I'm pretty much your average lovable guy. I work a full-time job at a staffing agency in Smyrna, GA. Basically I send people out to do much harder jobs for less pay than I. Really, there are few jobs that make you feel more guilty. I also deal with sales and A/P, but that is super-boring and I'm not sure you'd like to hear me .

I'm an aspiring English major (considering a change to Film - I'm a writer and I dream of directing), though I'm working hard for my college money. I returned to KSU after a couple of years off due to personal issues. I like a bit of this and that. Movies, video games, television, music. I worked at a video store for about two years, so I'm a bit of a movie buff.

One cool way to find out about me is to check out my internet blog thing (http://matt_cruea.livejournal.com). I update frequently, and I'm pretty cool, I think. I'm totally into meeting anyone. I'm all about hanging out. It's my secret talent.

There is a decent chance you might enjoy it, too. I would downright guarantee it, but then what would you get back?

What I’m doing with my life

Really, just working and going to school. In-between, I am probably being sarcastic on the internet here for some reason (it's the funny sarcastic, not the jerk sarcastic!).

I’m really good at

Being funny. Really, my quick wit is probably my most redeeming quality. I'm sure to brighten any conversation. I've the gift of gab, as it were.

I am also good at writing and have an extensive vocabulary. Thus, the proliferation of terms in my personal lexicon makes me pretty darned good at Scrabble.

I can never seem to win Monopoly, though. Dammit.

I don't think I'm REALLY good at it, but I write and sing songs with my best buddy. You can find some of our stuff at www.myspace.com/fakealbatross. I... did not design the layout. I don't even have a Myspace!

I'm really good at not having a Myspace!

The first things people usually notice about me

Most people notice that I am tall. People are all like "OH GOD YOU ARE SIX FEET TALL" and I'm all "Actually, I'm 6'4" and they're all "WOW" and I'm all "Stop yelling."

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

A. I can't read. B. I can't see. C. I can't hear. D. I can't eat.

A. I read Wicked last Summer and thought it was better than the show. I... enjoy words, though I'm struggling to find time to ACTUALLY sit down and read. I've bought quite a few books but haven't found time to actually read them (thanks adulthood, you rule!).

B. Too many to name. So let's just name the first shelf of my DVD collection here: Hot Fuzz, Love Actually, The Life Aquatic, Little Miss Sunshine, Amelie, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Prestige, Scrubs Season 2, Children of Men, Garden State, Big Fish, Stranger than Fiction, Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2, Rent, Zoolander, Sealab Season 1, Sealab Season 2, Election, Street Fighter (IS AWESOME), Saved!, Wicker Park, and Benny & Joon.

C. Again, there's a lot. So here are the first few artists that pop up on my MP3 player, which is on random: Weezer, Steve Burns/Flaming Lips, Ingrid Michaelson, TMBG, Radiohead, Jimmy Eat World, The Beatles, The Academy Is..., Dropkick Murphys, The Postal Service

D. Food is good. I'm not too picky. I hate tomatoes and spicy foods, though.

E. The "E" is for "Extra Special Television" section. I like the Office, Scrubs, 30 Rock, Heroes, House, and SVU. I'm trying to get into Pushing Daisies, but I think I'll wait for a box set.

The six things I could never do without

1. Oxygen 2. My Organs 3. Socks 4. Water 5. Illegal Whale Hunting 6. Water

I spend a lot of time thinking about

I spend a lot of time thinking about what I'm going to do next. Yet for some reason, I'm still impulsive. Life moves pretty fast, and all that. Ferris Bueller, et al.

On a typical Friday night I am

A typical Friday night is no longer typical when I show up. Nonetheless, I'm normally in hanging out with some pals or watching television.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Ask me a question, and I'll tell you whatever you want to know. No holds barred. Shoot!

You should message me if

If you want to hang out with someone who is as equally awesome as or perhaps even far more awesome than you are.

Or if you want to talk about serious world issues with someone who has a firm grasp on non-serious world issues.
