I am interesting, a music lover, and eclectic.

My Self-Summary

I have an awesome girlfriend katyexo

I have way too many interests. I've been told I'm trying to live too many lives at once :)

I have 5 tattoos.

I love music. I have a very eclectic taste, from Tool, to Jack Johnson, to the Grateful Dead. Tom Petty has been my favorite ever since I remember being aware of the music my Dad listened to in the car. Stevie Ray Vaughn's version of Little Wing might be the most perfect piece of music I've heard. Warren Haynes is my favorite musician/songwriter. I recently listened to Hendrix's Electric Ladyland again, and was blown away by how much I missed the first couple times. I love all kinds of concerts and want to start going to see more folk and blues artists. If you know who Derek Trucks is, we should talk.

I'd love to find someone who can have an intellectual conversation. If you can have a political discussion, disagree but remain civil, you've got a new friend. I'm always up for a good laugh too :)

I love good beer, but I also love waking up without a hangover, so I rarely overserve myself these days :)

I love animals, I grew up with dogs and cats. We have 2 cats in my house, one of them has the most unique personality of any cat I've ever met. The other one is kind of useless, but I don't tell her that.

What I’m doing with my life

I am CNC Machinist.

I just picked up a bass guitar for the first time in years, and it felt awesome. I'm also half assed learning the guitar and harmonica, but I have a feeling blues bass will be my passion for a while...

I brew my own beer and cider, I'm currently working on a recipe for a chocolate plum porter and a Zucchini Molasses Porter :)

I want to be creative, through brewing, machining or music, or maybe something I don't know about yet!

I’m really good at

Dreaming? Again, too many lives in one lifetime.

Talking music.

Making a good meal out of whatever is lying around the house.

I like to think that I know a little about a lot. So, I can hold a pretty good conversation with just about anyone :)

The first things people usually notice about me

I don't have a clue. Maybe my tattoos? Eyes? If we meet you can tell me.

your beautiful smile :)

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I prefer nonfiction books to fiction, but Jack London is my favorite author.

I would be perfectly happy without television, but I still get a kick out of watching reruns of the office and deadwood. I used to play football, so I like watching it. I don't NEED to watch every game though....

I like historically-based movies, or anything that is thought provoking. The Man From Earth was one of my recent favorites, I wish more movies were based on 'what if?'

For music though...a LOT of stuff.

The six things I could never do without

coffee
good music
peace and quiet
laughter
love (shut up :) you want it too)
my bed

I spend a lot of time thinking about

I get music stuck in my head a lot. The recipe for my next brew.

On a typical Friday night I am

With friends, family, or having a ball by myself listening to/making music.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I talk to my cat to figure out problems in my life. He doesn't help much, but he's usually a good listener.

You should message me if

If you really like music, good music.
