My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Marketer by trade, home cook by hobby.
A little nerdy, a little sarcastic humor, overall a pretty humble guy.

Grew up in a small town in West Texas, of which I hated for 18 years, but am thankful upon looking back on It. Austin is a great city, and I wouldn't be able to appreciate it as much if I had grown up somewhere with more action.

I like to think I make a good friend, and enjoy listening to people. Only caveat is that I'm a "solutions" kinda guy, so I don't have enough patience when listening to people complain.

I'm a hard worker and like people who also work hard. I gravitate toward people with drive and ambition, but aren't arrogant about it. There's a big difference between being confident and being a douche.

I like the PBS Newshour and The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Beverly Hills. Also spend a lot of time watching football in the fall, and never miss a UT tailgate or home game.

I also don't like to ramble, so will stop now.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Managing a marketing communications team for a tech firm and thoroughly enjoying my career. Work to stay in decent shape, try new things and make new connections along the way.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Conflict resolution, knowing meaningless facts about random things, public speaking, writing documents in a hurry, and making real-deal enchiladas.
The first things people usually notice about me

I've heard eyes and smile, but I think it's my slight West Texas twang.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
how I can improve myself and my team at work, what my next recipe attempt will be, and why the Texas Longhorns can't have a decent football team with the millions of dollars in their pocket.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
on my best friend's porch throwing back a few or in my recliner doing the same while catching up on DVR.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
