Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi, I may be from Essex but I'd like to think I'm not an
Standard stuff first: I work as an architectural designer which
is....a job, and I have a 6 year old son who is the greatest thing
that has ever happened to me. We come as a package so, while he's
got a mother already thankyouverymuch, if you don't want to date
someone with a kid then I'm not for you and vice versa. Unless we
can arrange to sell him to the circus for like £1m or something. I
love him to pieces but business is business, right?*
My brain doesn't necessarily compute all the time and I often think
abstractly. This can lead to interesting situations, and I'll be
damned if I don't enjoy them. Other times I can be painfully
logical - though that's mainly if I'm working on an excuse to get
out of something.
I can be fairly outspoken in company I know (and love, aww) and
tend to be fairly blunt with the people closest to me. It's just
how I am and it is (mainly) meant affectionately as I have almost
zero tolerance for bullshit. Basically, If I care about you I'll
tell you exactly what I think about something....unless I think the
truth may end with you causing me physical pain. I mean I'm not a
complete idiot, right? Right??
I'm a huge music fan - I've an eclectic taste and tend to like
stuff from most genres. Also, I don't believe in 'guilty pleasures'
when it comes to music - if you like it then have the courage of
your convictions to say so, no matter how awful you suspect other
people may think a song is!
I love to read, with my some of my favourite authors including:
Haruki Murakami, Paul Auster, William Gibson, & Neil
I'm very much into film and (good) TV and love trips to the cinema
or lazy evenings working through a series on Netflix.
I'm a big sport fan, football etc..yada yada. But my favourite
sport is basketball and I'm somewhat of an NBA fanatic.
I'm an easy-going, open-minded guy who loves the odd adventure when
the opportunity presents itself.
*DISCLAIMER: I have never attempted and never would attempt to sell
my son to the circus. Unless I get to have a drive of one of the

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
John Carpenter's The Thing.
That hand from the Addams Family.
That dude from The Fantastic Four.
Umm...and those 3 things over there.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
World domination (not for me, asking for a friend)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a nasty habit of air drumming along to songs if I think that
nobody can see me.

- I'm looking to meet people who share a similar outlook on life as
myself. I tend to look at the world in a positive manner and try
not to sweat the small stuff, so someone with a similarly relaxed
manner would be ideal. That isn't to say that I lack drive or
ambition however, and those are also attractive qualities.
