I've lived in NYC for a little over 7 years. Love the city, but try to get out of the country once or twice a year. I'm very curious by nature and like to understand how everything really works. I may not have actually figured these things out, but I most likely have a working theory going that I am happy to enlighten you with (e.g., it is physically impossible to kick a healthy pigeon. They always perfectly keep their distance). I make things. I ponder. I try to make you laugh. I learn stuff.

I'm an engineer. I solve problems and make computers (and, occasionally, people) do my bidding. I'm building up a decent bonsai collection. Carefully curating which utensils/gadgets are worthy of permanent residence in my kitchen. I love cooking for fun, rarely anything fancy.

I excel at games you do while drinking: pool, darts, bowling. I'm an excellent teacher/explainer of many things. I have a black belt in cooking eggs (if that existed).

tall-ish. Lots of hair (on my head).

I love documentaries. I usually read books that i can learn something useful from (authors: Jared Diamond, Nassim Taleb, Noam Chomsky, Brian Greene). I gravitate to books about WWII, human behavior (evolutionary biology/economics/happiness), or physics/cosmology. I looove mexican food and really good pizza and i'm a pickle connoisseur.

I trained myself to lucid dream some years ago. I'm out of practice now.
