just landed in NYC a couple of months ago, currently something
between a journalist and a writer...was a scientist and some sort
of politician in previous lives...a cosmopolitan person: Italian,
lived in few different countries - Germany, Spain, Belgium, Sweden,
the US and even Ethiopia...my passions: music (I play decently
flamenco and classical guitar), cooking (my grandma's italian
recipes), swimming in the ocean - when possible - and walking or
biking for hours through this wonderful city
What I’m doing with my life
using words and various forms of communication to build a bridge
between science and arts, and between science and politics...
and starting to explore my musical and performance sides...
I’m really good at
putting together a wonderful dinner and playing Spanish guitar
The first things people usually notice about me
strange curly hair......
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
allright, this could be an endless answer....I enjoy really
anything that comes from human creativity. Music, movies, theater,
literature.....and cooking of course!
being Italian, food is one of my obsession - I cook a lot, mostly
Italian things, but when going out I have an addiction for
my best recipes: pasta with zucchini and mint, strawberry
books...well I am a writer, so one assumes I am reading a bit.
Let's pick some: Calvino's "Difficult Loves". Marvellous short
stories about people who cannot find each other. "Homo Faber" by
Frisch, on the contrast between the mathematical world of an
engineer and his own emotions. Read them if you have not
Music could be an endless list. some random names: nick drake,
ryuichi sakamoto, pascal comelade, paolo conte, jordi savall.....
The six things I could never do without
I absolutely have no doubts about this, and there are exactly six
things in my list:
my guitar, passport, books, bike, coffee, and a city with over a
million people around me!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
...the best words to tell a good story
oh, and about where I could have put my bloody metro card
On a typical Friday night I am
...cooking with friends or exploring new music
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am on OkCupid......
You should message me if
you are doing something with passion - whatever that might be - and
you are curious about the world beyond your own little niche....
