I'm an East Coast transplant who moved here neither for the weather nor to get into entertainment, which makes me mysterious and exotic. I lived in NYC, Boston, and London while working in finance for five years before coming to Santa Monica and getting into the tech startup world, which makes me worldly and sophisticated. Some other stuff, like my penchant for sarcasm, makes me funny and intelligent.

I find it difficult to sum myself up without sounding boring or feeling narcissistic, but hopefully the answers below will help you understand that I am awesome. My general approach to life is: surround myself with smart, funny, good people and hope they rub off on me.

Laughing at it. I spend most of my time figuring out fun things to do with friends, but in my spare time, I work in the tech startup world while waiting for one of these companies to sell for $1 billion, thus enabling me to spend the rest of my life making the world a better place for you and me. That's what I really want to do with my life.

I play all racquet sports, like to go for hikes, will occasionally be spotted running along the SM/Venice boardwalk, and love yoga (but wish I did a lot more more of it).

I like all movies, but especially bad ones. I like TV, but especially reality shows. I like books, but primarily best-sellers. I like trying new restaurants indiscriminately, and I like to spend at least one weekend a month in another city. I also attend a lot of weddings and typically win the unofficial MVG award (most valuable guest).
