My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hey, I'm Matt, I'm 34 and truthfully, I really just want to meet someone who makes me feel special. Not like short bus special - haha. Special as in important and truly cared for. Wow, that sounds like I was neglected as a child or something! On the contrary, I think I'm just so used to meeting LA guys who are flaky, superficial and more self-absorbed than selfless. When I say I'm passionate, I mean I'm passionate about everything in my life. I'm passionate about my friends and family. I'm passionately driven to succeed in my career. I put 100% into everything I do - that includes relationships, work, etc. But I'm also an immature jokester who enjoys making the corniest and crudest jokes you could ever think of. I blame that on my Dad - after all, he still makes prank calls! I'm pretty masculine and usually am only attracted to masculine guys. But at the same time I would never want someone to be something they're not. And I'm a definite romantic - if I'm truly into a guy, I'll say and do all those mushy romantic things that make single people want to puke (including me when I'm single). So that's me in a paragraph.

I am passionately driven, crudely funny, and hopelessly romantic
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
What AM I doing with my life? No, I'm pretty committed to my career path. I majored in advertising in college and want to eventually be an Advertising Copywriter. My career goal is to write one of the commercials that debuts during the Superbowl. Right now I work at Mattel as a Senior Copywriter. Basically I name toys, write all the backstories/text on packages and develop content for some of our boys brands. It's a really fun and creative job, but I've been there awhile and ready for something new.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
planning things (I throw a HUGE Halloween party every year - it's kind of my obsession), singing karaoke (well actually that depends on how you define "good"), giving advice (I'm much better at giving advice than taking it) and making people laugh (remember, the cruder and cornier the better).
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
are my energetic personality, my corny sense of humor and my pecs (if I'm meeting them naked of course - haha)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

That's a lot to ask in one section! I'm not going to lie - I'm not an avid reader of books. I prefer magazines and online news sites for my information. I subscribe to Entertainment Weekly and Fangoria (yes, that's the horror movie magazine). Which brings me to my incredible love for horror movies - my favorite is the original Halloween from 1978. I also love the original Nightmare on Elm Street, the first Saw, Scream 1 & 2, the first Final Destination ... do you see a pattern of me liking the original installments from these series? Music - almost anything. I used to limit my choices but now they are limitless. I love everything from Kelly Clarkson, to Incubus, to Frank Sinatra, to Paul Oakenfold!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My family
2. My friends
3. Generic answers to online profile questions
4. Horror movies
5. Romance
6. The Gym
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
where I should be in my life now that I'm 34, and then I dismiss all those thoughts and remember that everyone lives according to a different timetable.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
either with friends doing something chill, dancing at a club or seeing a movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
is that I have 3 testicles! HAHA No that's not true. The most private thing I can admit here is that I'm a tiny bit afraid of the waves in the ocean. I'm not the strongest swimmer so I always think the ocean is going to swallow me up!

you are a masculine guy who's willing to put the time and energy into getting to know me. It's not that I'm so incredibly complicated - it's just that I hate it when people don't really care about getting to know you, or become flaky after a few dates. Oh, and if you have an idea for an interesting, unique date - that always impresses me!
