I am duck, duck, and goose.

My Self-Summary

I take very little in life seriously (including myself).
I sometimes cross the line between being funny and being kinda weird.
I once passed up the opportunity to, on an elevator, serve Muhammad Ali his 2nd TKO. I would have made history, but I stuck with my morals.
I like learning, but college isn't my cup of tea.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm doing my college thing until spring '11 and I'm debating on taking the grad school route. College in smalltown gets kinda boring, but I find ways to keep busy/entertained.

I’m really good at

improv cooking
laughing
math
freestyling ballads
staying up too late
making others feel awkward
impulse ebay purchases
snowboarding
catching fish and ducks with uncut six-pack rings

The first things people usually notice about me

I'm a slick-strollin' jive turkey with a wink/smile combo that melts hearts.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books? I wish I liked books, but I'm pretty sure that a blind 8 year-old could read Braille faster than I can read times new roman.

Movies: I never seem to disappoint my friends with the lack of movies I've seen. My movie memory is pretty bad, as well. I mainly like good action/thinker movies and comedies. Movies that try to use special effects and/or violence and/or gore to cover up a weak plot tend to bore me.

Music: My neighbors below me are always playing either radio-pop or screamo angry rock. Unfortunately, I can listen to pretty much any genre between, but not including, those spectrum extremes. I listen to a lot of rap, but I can enjoy good music of all genres. I have a soft spot in my heart for good 90's alt.

Food: It really depends on the mood.. if I'm jonesin' for seafood and in the mood to cook, I'll probably make some crab cakes or some bacon-wrapped scallops. If I'm feeling some Mexican, I'll nom on a Chipotle steak burrito (my biggest weakness). Occasionally I'll be in the mood for some Chinese, mainly for some fried cheese won tons.

The six things I could never do without

my chapstick
Jeopardy
listening to music while driving
my Jimmy Choo pumps
bottled water
my phone (although it blows)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

-really bad puns
-what font the Braille system uses
-what kind of job I want to work post-college
-why the kid in the corner of my history class doesn't know how to apply proper voice inflection, yet he thinks he knows everything
-what it would be like to do stand-up
-why Sarah Jessica Parker's face isn't censored on standard cable
-living somewhere where there are no cows within walking distance

On a typical Friday night I am

wishing there was a little more on the local scene than the same ol couple bars, but I still manage to have a little fun

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Subsequent to a dream that Tina Fey was dancing provocatively right next to me, I fell in love.

You should message me if

-you can refrain from using 'lol', unless you happened to have been lolling
-a grammar nazi wouldn't send your message to a concentration camp
-you think you can entertain or interest me
-you agree that addressing anything with a humorous approach can excuse its insensitivity and inappropriateness
-you LOVE the Twilight series
-you shuddered when you read the prior comment
-you are relieved that I don't really like Twilight
-Count Chocula is the only vampire you've ever had feelings for
