My Self-Summary
I really love music, and I have since I was very young. Over the years, I have a pretty damn good list of tops. I mainly enjoy listening to what MP3's or records I already have, and not so much of new music, but once in a while I do stumble across a good song that is new. I don't like cover songs that much, but I do have a few here and there that I like a lot. Corey Taylor and Nikki Sixx are my two favorite people of all time in the music industry. I like going to live events a lot. To me, it's worth the money for a ticket or two. The best shows that I have seen are Slipknot, Motley Crue, and Metallica. I do own a guitar, but I'm not that great at it. I really like electronics.
Music and electronics are what I live for. I'm a huge fan of Microsoft, and HP. I don't like Apple at all, and will never use on again. Since I have had experience with computers for nine years now, and I finally decided on a major, I'm starting ITNA in the fall at DMACC. I can't wait to get back to school. I have been part time for the last few semesters, with only a few classes, and my life had been really boring.
I still have that one thing causing the void in my life, and it really does suck to be broken and alone. I'm ready to get back out there, put myself back out there, and see what happens. I am looking for a long term relationship, but I don't want to rush it like I have in the past. It just ruined my life completely, and took a long time to still almost completely recover from. But everything's alright now. I'm doing alright.
I like to watch movies/go to one, go fishing, camping once in a while, driving around, go to the bar, play drinking games, watch T.V., and a ton of other stuff. My favorite movies have Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson, Adam Sandler, Sean William Scott, Ben Stiller, and Ryan Renolds in them. I go to Stix in Ankeny frequently, so I might see you there... Most of the time I don't get completely drunk though. As for T.V., I watch The Mentalist, C.S.I. on occasion, Two and a Half Men, Scrubs, Family Guy, The King of Queens, and sports.
I am a huge sports fan. I love football, and can never wait for the season to start. N.E. Patriots, and AZ Cardinals are my teams. First team is New England, and I like Arizona cause I always enjoy watching Kurt Warner make some awesome play. I've met him, talked, and got an autograph while still playing for the Des Moines Barnstormers back in like 2000. It was before the St. Louis Rams era. For baseball, St. Louis all the way. Other than that, pretty much the Iowa for college.
What I’m doing with my life
As for college, I have been attending DMACC in Ankeny since my senior year in high school. I have switched majors a few times, but I finally decided on what I want to do for sure, and that's ITNA. I'm starting this fall.
Hoping after that's all done and in the books, to have an awesome job doing what I love.
I’m really good at
The first things people usually notice about me
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I don't read books, unless I get a grade for it... and even at that point, I'm still debating on using Spark Notes or copying someone. I used to read books by Gary Paulsen...
Movies:
Comedies, horror, real life situations, things that are debatable.
Music:
Classic rock, (modern/soft/heavy) rock, metal, grunge, etc. No country, no rap/hip-hop/R&B. Like I said, some songs come along at times, but most don't. I can stand Johnny Cash and John Denver.
Food:
Pizza, popcorn, chicken, beef, cheese, tacos, breakfast stuff (I-Hop/Perkins), mac and cheese, etc.
The six things I could never do without
Music & my guitar
Electronics (Phone/video games/computer)
My truck
Beer and cigarettes
Food and water
