I'm going to list as few as possible (the ones that are most
constant to my different moods).
Books: Maurice Hall; The Little Prince; Jane Eyre; Religion for
Atheists; Notre Dame de Paris; Les Miserables; Cuore.
Movies: Howl's Moving Castle; Le Notti di Cabiria and Ladro di
Biciclette; Jean de Florette and Manon des Sources; The Secret
Lives of Words.
Shows: Game of Thrones; The Simpsons (seasons 1-9); Mr. Deity.
Various documentaries, most recently: The Power Principle and The
Spanish Civil War.
Music: just about anything by John Grant, or Fabrizio de Andre', or
Yves Montand, or Bach (J.S.), or Mozart. Specifics: "The Heart Asks
Pleasure First" by Michael Nyman.
Food: my motherland's cuisine is always going to be a favorite but,
aside from that, I'd say Indian, French, and Spanish.
