Hey, my name is Mike and I run my own digital communications and
marketing shop (www.littleunicorns.com
) here in D.C. I came to this
city in 2001 to start school, and I've spent the last 10+ years
making it my home. I currently live in the one-bedroom apartment of
a row house in Logan Circle. I really love my apartment; I drink
coffee on my back porch on weekend mornings, play with my gay
downstairs neighbors' dogs out on the patio, and have friends over
for Apple TV in front of my fireplace. I love to grill and always
have a spare propane tank on hand, even in the dead of winter. I
started working out in college and continue to enjoy weightlifting.
There are three or four tubs of supplements stacked on top of my
fridge, but that's about the extent of my weird nutrition habits.
(I don't go on paleo diets or "cut" for summer, because I don't
have the discipline or drive.) I love YouTube videos, blogs and
animated gifs. I drink bourbon in the winter time and gin in the
spring. I make my bed (almost) every morning. If I'm ever quiet,
it's because I'm thinking.
I consider myself to be a loyal person, especially when it comes to
close friends and family. I rarely get upset or stay angry with
someone for too long. Basically, I try to do the right thing.
The man I'm looking to date is passionate, balanced and well-liked.
He is good at what he does, he likes to stay fit, he's friendly and
outgoing—but he doesn't define himself by his job or his body or
the number of Facebook friends he has, if you know what I mean. His
previous relationships have been monogamous. He probably doesn't
belong to a kickball league, but who knows, maybe he does. He likes
