My Self-Summary

I spend a lot of time on the computer so I thought I'd give this a shot and see what happens. I'm not into the club or bar scene. I went through that stage years ago, and at the time it sounded like a good place to meet people. Now that I am in my late 30's that just isn't as appealing. However, I recently discovered NTN (Buzztime)trivia at some sports bars in the area. So if anyone is up for a little friendly competition and a few beers, I'm up for that just about any time.

I love West Coast Swing, Hustle, and try to go out dancing as much as possible. I try to get outdoors as much as possible, either taking Baxter (my dog) for a walk, or just going to a local park and sit and listen to the waterfalls. I love to go camping, hiking, mountain biking... pretty much anything to get out in the fresh air and away from this computer. However in the winter that is another story. If I could stay in where it is warm, and never leave the house until spring, I would.

What I’m doing with my life

Going to college for Civil Engineering part time. I started treating Lyme Disease March of 2006 after being misdiagnosed for years. Now I am trying to move forward and accept the limitations Lyme has caused. That just means I have to tone the overachiever/perfectionist part of my personality down a bit. I think that it is a good thing for the most part.(once I get used to it) Edit: I think a climate change will get me back to my old self and physically more active again. A recent trip to Las Vegas was amazing, I had no limitations at all it seemed. I'm going back to see if it was just the excitement of the trip, or if it really made a difference. If I like what I see there, I'll be moving as soon as possible. Still trying to move, owning a house vs. renting is the only thing holding me back.

I’m really good at

Anything I set my mind to. I love math, especially calculus.(weird I know) I'm pretty good solving problems...as long as there are numbers involved. I'm also pretty much a "jack of all trades" too. I do all my own home improvement projects, and all my own vehicle maintenance, etc.. I'd like to say dancing, but I'm still working on that one. My newest past time is playing poker. I'm not sure if can say I'm "really good" at it, but I love to play!

Books: textbooks, not exactly my favorite, but all I open right now :(

Movies: anything but horror, I don't sleep well as it is :0

Music: anything but rap, but country is my favorite

Food: variety- Chinese, Mexican, Italian, pizza, steak and fries, ice cream, Chocolate.

The future and how to get my life back on track after having a chronic illness. And how did we ever communicate without the internet and cell phones. hahahaha
Now, mostly thinking about how to get this house sold and move to Vegas.

On a typical Friday night I am

I don't really have a typical Friday night. I could be out dancing, going out to dinner and a movie, sitting at home studying, playing on the computer, or taking a road trip somewhere for the weekend or hanging out in the hot tub...it all depends.
