My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Made in 1986....didn't really understand the 80s though until I saw The Breakfast Club and Ferris Bueller's Day Off......I was a 90s kid: raised on Disney before Pixar, the Soviet Union disappearing from atlases, pogs, Power Rangers, Nicktoons, Bill Clinton, The Simpsons, Michael Jordan racking up NBA titles, the Braves ruling the National League, Forrest Gump, Titanic, the dot com boom, Y2K home in Santa Barbara part of the first generation of Kids' World playgrounders.....was on summer vacation to NYC just before turning 15, and two months before 9/11.....tuition for my first semester at SBCC was raised a few bucks a unit thanks to the mom would rent all 9 innings of Ken Burns a few times when I was bored.....made the pilgrimage to Cooperstown when my brother had a Pony league tournament there.....roamed the bleachers of AT&T Park as a cash-strapped SF State got deep into my soul.....have spent my 20s on a quest to see all 30 MLB stadiums, one season at a time.....worked customer service for a travel supply company until they moved to Denver.....never took a class at UCSB but have started a career there....still hold out hope that Bob Costas is my real father and Stan Lee my real grandfather.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work at UCSB as an administrator for the neuroscience department. Mad scientists (in the form of grad students, post docs, professors etc.) ask me to help them order supplies like formaldehyde, DNA sequencing etc. One guy orders cow brains from a harvesting plant. Picture Professor Farnsworth from Futurama or Dr. Frankenstein, those are my bosses hahaha.

In my spare time I write an online column for Noozhawk, play kickball, hit the movie theaters every few weeks, take long hikes/walks, hang out at the beach, get lost in crossword puzzles, and make sure I'm informed of the latest MLB news and scores.

Overall, I think its worth mentioning that my life has always been pretty simple, more so now than ever. Never had too much drama. I don't need a whole lot to be satisfied. Appreciation of the simple things, low maintenance etc., I think are good boyfriend qualities.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

Movies? Cannot narrow it down, lots of them. They fill the void for me from November to March during the baseball offseason. The Oscars are like the World Series to me, the grand finale of one season, onset of the other.

TV I'm not as prone to watching. But I do enjoy Parenthood and Always Sunny.

Books? The Hunger Games series I'm fixated on at the moment, also like stuff by Stephen King, Michael Chabon, TC Boyle when I get around to reading.

- I have patronized Subway one too many times a week. Such that without thinking once I asked for a 6" sub at a movie theater concession stand vending nothing more than popcorn and assorted junk food.
- Since I'm Californian, love avocados!

- A precaution would be that I have gag response/allergic-like reactions to cereal, noodles and soup.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My family
Glasses or contacts (or I'm blurry)
Blended or iced coffee
Clean air
Crossword puzzles
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Counting sheep, baseball, travel/vacation ideas, shaving, trader joe's, 7-11, scratch tickets, dystopia
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Entertain me....
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

Why say if its supposed to be private?

You don't think I'm nuts, you are not deeply religious or politically conservative. I would prefer to connect in person, but we've got to start somewhere.
