Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My favorite numbers are 808, 303, & 420
I grew up on a small farm, and almost everything I ate before moving away for university, was organic and from our land.
Im from Canada.
I was a boy scout for many years and earned my chief scout award. I love the outdoors.
I went to my first rave at 15, and still love to lose it on a dancefloor, albeit seldomly as of late.
I like rainy days spent in the kitchen.
I'm not so good at writing about myself.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Splitting my professional time between the event lighting world, and photography. Away from work I like to spend my time riding bikes, fly fishing, climbing (although not as often as i used to), making techno, and just enjoying life.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
making music
taking pictures
riding bikes
being lazy (this is a skill that many people totally lack)
making chilli

music: At my core, techno is what makes me tick. The sounds that come from Detroit have influenced me since I was a kid discovering the rave scene. But music isn't just about the beats. I love listening to everything form bluegrass to hip hop, however, I don't think pop music is really music.... to me, its nothing more then a commodity to sell an image and profit from. Since okc loves lists, here's some of my standouts:
Adam Beyer, Jeff Mills, Robert Hood, Steve Reich, Miles Davis, Atmosphere, Eyedea, Brother Ali, Biggie, M83, Passion Pit, Miike Snow, Tribe, Jurassic 5, St. Germain, Stereolab, and pretty much anything released on Drumcode or Primate. Oh, and currently Capital Cities "Safe and Sound" is getting more play than anything else.

tv: top gear, family guy, how to make it in america, its always sunny, louie, formula 1 and wrc, and anything absurd.

books: 1984, Animal Farm, Divided Kingdom, The Hobbit, Altered States. I love dystopian fictions.
magazines: I love magazines. The standards are Bike, The Drake, Wired, Rock and Ice, and GQ.

food: I'm an unpretentious foodie. I find as many merits in a grey's papaya dog, as I do in foi gras. I'm a fan of rustic, simplistic dishes with incredibly fresh and local ingredients.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How much i want to go back to Whistler.

fly fishing.

why is it that in all the mirror self portraits on okc, everyone looks at their phone and not at the mirror? Or better yet, why are there so many people taking selfies in mirrors?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
depending on the week, i could be working, hanging out with friends, dancing to techno, or getting to bed early in preparation for a weekend adventure.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
