My Self-Summary

I can be shy at first, but once I'm comfortable around you, I'm a pretty fun girl. I'm very laid-back and low maintenance. While I enjoy hearing about other people's drama, I like to keep it as far away from my personal life as possible. I'm also a complete goofball. I can be serious when I need to be and I'm a great listener, but usually I just like to make people laugh.

I love meeting new people and figuring out how they see the world. I'm also open to trying new things, whether it's a new bar, a new band, or even a new way of thinking. I love to learn and am always looking for a new adventure. I also enjoy traveling. I went to China a few months ago, which was my first time abroad. Now, I have the bug and can't wait to see the rest of the world.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I read alot, so I literally have a ton of favorite books, way too many to name here.

I watch a lot of movies and I like pretty much anything that makes me laugh or makes me think. My favorites are Singin' in the Rain, Almost Famous, Back to the Future I and II, Amelie, and Fight Club. I love musicals and usually like watching scary movies, except for the ones that are really gory.

I like music and I have pretty eclectic tastes. I usually listen to rock, although I also like the occasional pop or hip hop song. Some bands I like are Coldplay, Death Cab for Cutie, The Raconteurs, The White Stripes, Lily Allen, Regina Spektor, Ben Folds, Cake, Beck, No Doubt, The Strokes, The Killers, and Modest Mouse.

The six things I could never do without

my family and friends, a car to get around with, my journal, books or magazines, funny people, and sitcom reruns

I spend a lot of time thinking about

where I want to go and what I want to do.

On a typical Friday night I am

out with my friends at a bar or seeing a movie. Nothing too crazy, but we like to have fun :)
