I moved to Albuquerque very recently with my almost-constant companion, a heeler/pit bull mix named Penelope, plus 2 cats and 6 red eared sliders. I moved here (i thought) because I wanted more & better dating prospects, but now am realizing that flirting feels more fun that dating right now. Oh well. someday I'll figure it out.

I'm a lawyer at a non-profit. I represent poor people. I've helped 3 teenaged girls get Medicaid to pay for their braces.

I'm slowly learning to skateboard. I can ride up a ramp and ride back down fakie, I can do a taildrop off a 5' quarterpipe, i can do backside kickturns, and, although i've suffered some bruises (including the entire left side of my face once), i haven't broken anything yet, and i still have all my teeth(!)

Update, March 27th: I can pump transitions back and forth on a mini ramp now!

unpacking boxes, walking my dog, learning to skateboard, collecting bruises, wishing I had a more skating buddies.

my dog (she comes with me everywhere, & has very cute ears).

i've heard it's a bad idea to list these things in a dating ad. honestly, i agree. when a guy lists 100 books, movies, TV shows, bands, etc., that he's into, it kind of sounds self-important. Memo to OKC, take this section out!

(sigh) anyway, here goes: graham greene, chelsea handler (her first 2 books, her show not so much), best of craigslist, beatles, solo john lennon (hence my name), steely dan, dido, bob mould/husker du, neil young/CSNY, bee gees (disco era), rufus wainwright, many more that i can't think of right now (and, really, isn't that enough?)
