My self-summary
Hailing from the midwest (go blue!), I’m a Bay area transplant trying by best to soak in every San Francisco adventure. Which, more often than not, includes a healthy dose of the beautiful outdoors, ridiculously good food, good company, and plenty of live music. I've been living in the Bay area for over 3 years now. And, I have no intention of leaving any time soon. This city suits me rather perfectly.
What I’m doing with my life
At the moment, working at a tech company helping undiscovered talent get discovered.
I’m really good at
Procrastinating on finishing profiles. Headstands on the beach. Seeking out, and introducing you to obscure bands. Breaking the ice early. Being open minded to new adventures and people. Spending a good portion of my paycheck on food (hello Bi-rite). Impulse adventures. Staying physically active. Often, finding a way to combine being impulsive with physical fitness (signed up for my first marathon with some coworkers in Hawaii on a whim). Following through. Spending hours on a Saturday in a park or a coffee shop. Reading people. Keeping it all in perspective. Convincing you to join me for a yoga class. Thrift shopping.
The first things people usually notice about me
My personal style. I rarely go anywhere without my leather jacket, and a scarf. Prints on prints on prints.

A few recent reads: Wild, tiny beautiful things, Norwegian wood, David sedaris, the Rosie Project

The six things I could never do without
The Arts - Live music, theatre, dance, film
Cooking and good food
Friends and family who keep me grounded, challenge, and inspire me every day
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Men with facial hair...partially kidding.

Figuring out how I can make a living doing what I love. When and where I'll do yoga teacher training. "Is this the year I'll go to Burning Man?" "Why is everyone in the midwest getting married?"
On a typical Friday night I am
When in doubt, sharing a bottle of wine over dinner at a new restaurant, hosting a Shabbat dinner (read: cooking & wine), or catching some live music with a few friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I just had my first burrito last week. No, but really.

I rarely watch TV. So, no, I probably don't watch your favorite show.

This profile, admittedly, only manages to scrape the surface of who I am. And, I'm okay with that. That's what the real world is for.
You should message me if
You're open minded, and can challenge, teach or introduce me to something new. I'm not interested in dating myself.
