i'm 24 years old, and i just moved back to houston after living in austin for the past 4 years. i work at whole foods market in the bakery, and i have worked as a pastry chef/baker for the past 4 years in austin. i'm definitely an austinite! i am vegetarian; i LOVE music, and i love the outdoors. i have a dog named, lennon. i love him!! when i lived in austin, we would go the park, the river, and kayak all the time. i'm really laid-back, and just enjoy being with my friends, whether it's going to a show, a museum, camping, chillin at a bar, or just hangin at the house. i'm definitely a kid at heart, and as such, i want someone who is silly and can play with me, but also loves to talk about philosophy, music, politics, whatever. i'm usually the kind of girl that can hang with the boys, and i tend to have more guy friends then girl. at the same time, i am definitely a lady and want to be treated as such.

What I’m doing with my life

I am working towards becoming a certified pastry chef. i have been working as a baker for the past 4 years, and i hope to make a successful career out of it.

i'm a jack-of-all-trades; master of none. i am kind of a nerd in the sense that i'm pretty book smart, and i know insanely too much about music. i'm really good at board games, especially scrabble, and i'm a pretty good baker.

i love music!! i was raised on classic rock and blues, but mostly listen to indie rock and pop. phantom planet, ben kweller, neutral milk hotel, led zeppelin, radiohead, david bowie, beatles, toadies, aretha franklin, ray charles, rachael yamagata, pixies, bob dylan, i could go on for days...

my favorite books are, the perks of being a wallflower, franny and zooey, the great gatsby, a heartbreaking work of staggering genius, and the giver. i love classic fiction!

as for food, i work as a pastry chef, so i love trying new food and developing my cooking skills. p.s. i'm vegetarian!

i love donnie darko, fight club, almost famous, empire records, rushmore, eulogy, the royal tennenbaums, about a boy, anything by wes anderson or judd apatow...

The six things I could never do without

i could never live without my ipod. i'm pretty low maintenance; as long as i have music i'm alright.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

is that i have a horribly frequent habit of making an ass out of myself by singing in the car, or while cooking...i've even had people follow me just to watch me dance and sing in the car...and yet this doesn't stop me! :)
