I grew up in the DC burbs, and after 4 years of college in southern California, I'm back in DC and loving it. I have a slight addiction to Netflix Instant...I recently started watching Breaking Bad and am already completely addicted to it.

Starting up my last year of law school

mini-golf, board games, spelling, skiing, pop culture trivia (especially if it has anything to do with the 90s)

Books: Harry Potter, The Winds of War, The Great Gatsby, Pride and Prejudice, Gone with the Wind, The Things They Carried, Ender's Game, The Hunger Games, Bonfire of the Vanities, Prince of Tides, Grimm's Fairy Tales

TV: Friday Night Lights, The West Wing, Friends, The Good Wife, Modern Family, Arrested Development, Sports Night, Mad Men, How I Met Your Mother, Suits, The Newsroom (yes, I love Aaron Sorkin)

Movies: pretty much all over the place. The part of me that majored in film studies would like to say Casablanca (which is true) and other obscure fancy things, but I also love superhero movies (The Avengers was epic), ridiculous comedies (Wedding Crashers, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and I Love You Man are all very high on the list), and girly romantic comedies (Pretty Woman, When Harry Met Sally). Plus The Princess Bride, which is obviously a classic.

Music: The Beatles, Billy Joel, Tom Petty, and an embarrassing amount of pop music intended for teenage girls. And I've recently started listening to Hootie and the Blowfish within the past week or two. No, I don't know why, and yes, I know it's not 1994.

Food: I'll try anything once, but I'll probably put hot sauce on it. Also anything spicy, Mexican, Thai, sushi, and still searching for DC's best burger.
