My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
A short bio: I grew up in the Midwest where most of my family still lives. I’m the middle of six kids (think dysfunctional Brady Bunch)…they’re an unruly, insane group but I love them anyway. I’ve always been drawn toward the artistic and creative side of things so I studied architecture in college. While there, I took my first opportunity to move away and since then have lived in Boston, Chicago and Santa Fe, NM before landing in San Francisco where I’ve been for about 15 years now.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
For work, I'm an architect. In my spare time, I enjoy the music (everything from bluegrass to opera) and the arts; I love the theater, ballet, and take in museums and galleries at every opportunity. I’m also drawn to simpler pleasures: I love starting the day with a good cup of coffee and the NYT crossword puzzle; walking aimlessly through the city; spending time with friends in spirited conversation.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
parallel parking in ridiculously tight spaces
rescuing my daughter's cat its latest ill-fated adventure
talking authoritatively about stuff that I know absolutely nothing about
driving in reverse
amassing obscure and useless information
The first things people usually notice about me
