My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm originally from Michigan and after running around the world for a bit, I'm happy to be back.

STOP! Before you read any more... ask yourself
"Am I awesome, funny, adventurous, and regularly vote in off-presidential elections?"

[ IF YES ]: Please proceed
[ IF NO]: Ok, so..... what I've done here below is posted a link to motivational speaker Tony Robbins. He gave a speech entitled "why we do what we do" linked here -->
I can't wait to talk to you in like 6 months to 2 years and I've got a feeling we are going to really hit it off. AND! just think, people will be able to wear those crazy Google (c) glasses that are also computers which is beside the point but also exciting about the future.

Other facts:

I can cook some select dishes from the around the world very well but I frequently destroy the basics.

I think people who use Twitter more successfully than me are smart and I would take advice from them about other realms of life, regardless of whether they were qualified to distribute it or not.

I don't have a dog and I am bad at maintaining plants. I'm also busy, so if given the choice to become better at this or buy heartier plants, I would lean toward option B but open to other suggestions.
What I’m doing with my life

I usually read current affairs but I can get pretty fired up about the latest trendy book. I read the Harry Potter series 6 years after everyone else did. No one wanted to talk about it anymore - suddenly, abruptly, I knew loneliness.

I have strong opinions about Thomas Friedman. I keep it more or less to myself but if you also have strong opinions about Thomas Friedman we should talk.

My Nero Pandora station is groomed for maximum dance.

Also - I like terrible stuff from the 90s. Do you have a rock or rap cd from the last years of the 90s or early 00s that you are a little embarrassed of? Yay, me too, except I'm still spinning it.
The six things I could never do without

the life option to purchase a motorcycle even though I do not currently own or drive one

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
doubting the talent, education, training, and funding levels of the people tasked with tracking astroids and other dangerous space items
On a typical Friday night I am

feeling pretty good about the week. feeling pretty good about the weekend.
