My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a pretty down to earth guy that likes to have a good time. I know it's cliché to say that I'm a jack of all trades but I kind of am. I had a pretty well rounded childhood and got exposed to a lot of different experiences and I feel they have shaped who I am and what I like to do. I enjoy going to a museum and looking at everything and reading all the descriptions(if I ever get to the National Air and Space Museum in D.C. you may not find me for a couple of days). Going to Spain with my family for two weeks when I was in high school and sight seeing; visiting the castles, museums, and churches; seeing a live bull fight in the arena. I will never forget that trip. Or checking out a favourite band live at a concert. Saw Grace Potter and the Nocturnals at the Ryman for the second year in a row. Going to the Young the Giant concert in just a couple of weeks. I'm into UT football (and if you're from Tennessee who isn't), so if it's the fall there will be some football watching going on or maybe even going to the game up in Knoxville. Like I said, I do a lot of different things.

Being outdoors is a big part of my life. I was a Boy Scout growing up and my troop would go camping once a month. I went backpacking for eight days in the lower Rockies in New Mexico at the Philmont Scout Ranch. I still try to go camping as often as I can now with the troop I help with at my church. I'm an Eagle Scout. Hell yeah I'm going to throw that out there. Only 2% of Scouts ever get to the rank of Eagle Scout. That will always be on my resume:) I usually go the Hiwassee river in east Tennessee a couple of times during the summer to go white water kayaking. One day I will kayak the Ocoee river, but not today:) I have four pairs of running shoes and use all of them. And the Color run was an awesome 5k to do(check out a video on their website to understand). I own two pairs of Vibram Five Fingers. If you don't know what they are, google them. Greatest shoes ever. Really useful for cliff jumping trips. I love to play soccer and like to get a sand volleyball game together with my friends when we can.

I love being out with my friends and going to a bar for some drinks, or going to Arrington Vineyards with a group. That place is awesome. I always have my set of discs in my car in case I feel like playing a round of golf at the park or if my friends call me(yes, disc golf).

Some people think chivarly is dead, I would have to disagree. So if that makes me one of the few, than that's fine with me. A woman should always have fresh flowers. I will always hold the door open for a lady and treat them the way they should be. I'm old fashioned that way.

I can be shy sometimes so just keep trying until you get my attention. I'm at a good point in my life so hopefully I can find a wonderful woman to share it with. I know what I want in the person I'm dating and what I want out of a relationship. I've never been the type of guy to date multiple women at one time and I never will be. That's just not me. I give a 100% to the relationship and I expect the same. I'm looking for someone special to share this adventure with and I can't wait to find her. We can go out and have a good time or stay in. I'll cook dinner, you sit back and relax, and we'll watch a movie.

I graduated from MTSU with a degree in Aerospace and I'm trying to get a job somewhere in the Aerospace field. My family is from Memphis (Arlington, if you're from Memphis you know all the suburbs) and I also have family in Knoxville so I travel back and forth regularly. So as you can see I really do try to do a lot of different things. So just drop me a line and get my attention. Hope to hear from you.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work in Cool Springs right now for a hospital administration company(trying to break into the aviation side of the company). Helping out with a Boy Scout troop(Eagle Scout myself). Training for a couple of 5k's coming up.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
soccer, flying, camping, kayaking. I love the outdoors and try to go out as much as I can.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Harry Potter series, A Tale of Two Cities, all of Dan Brown's books, The Great Gatsby, The Borne Trilogy(the books the movies were based on, not the novelization of the movies), Chronicles of Narnia(all seven), The Picture of Dorian Gray, and currently reading Wild at Heart by John Eldredge. I like a lot of fiction, the classics and history but if I find something that peaks my interest I'll give it a try. I've gotten into a lot of history lately. World War 2 mostly for some reason.

Movies: Top Gun(can't help it, all time favorite), Garden State, The Dark Knight, October Sky, Serenity, and Office Space to name a few.

T.V.: NCIS, Castle, Burn Notice, White Collar, Royal Pains, Big Bang Theory(one of the funniest shows on t.v.), and Suits now that the new season has started. Oh, and The Newsroom on HBO(you have to admit, Aaron Sorkin is one hell of a writer).

Music: Muse, Neon Trees, The Killers, Wallflowers, 10 Years, U2, Mumford and Sons(love them), The Avett Brothers, Vampire Weekend, The Decemberists, Of Monsters and Men, Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors, The Head and the Heart, The Black Keys, Neon Trees. I like a lot of different things so you'll have to ask. Oh, and Flogging Molly. And Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. Going to see Grace Potter this fall at the Ryman when they come back through. I probably listen to Lighting 100 the most. It's usually what's on in my car. And plan on attending the Live on the Green series this fall they put on. Some really good bands coming up.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

soccer
my hammock
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
where I've been and where I want to be going. Who I'm going to be there with.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
out with friends, at a movie, at a bar, but at least doing something.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I like to get dressed up. I own a lot of dress pants, shirts and ties than I know what to do with. And that I bought a sword when I was in Spain(no, I'm not kidding).
