I'm a Boston guy, but not a townie. Grew up here, went to college in DC (including a semester in Argentina), and while I like Boston a lot, have engaged in a long running love affair with NYC. Los Angeles is also of growing intrigue.
I tend to be a very well rounded person. Rather then excelling or diving into a few things head first, I like to stay active but on the periphery of many things. Sometimes this is a virtue because I have broad interests and even knowledge, but it can also be a limiting since I don't really take the risk to dedicate myself fully to anything. I'm working on this. Some of my favorite things: food, music, games, movies, news.
I consider myself an intellectual because I'm naturally curious about a lot of stuff. I'm an NPR listener, I like deep conversations about life, philosophy, current events. I also love music. We'll get along if we hate the same people. Don't be a conservative.
Lastly, while I enjoy skiing and being in nature from time to time, I'm a city kid at heart and probably get along best with people who get it.
