My self-summary
I moved to the Raleigh-Durham area about 4 years ago and I've enjoyed it immensely. I've been working inDurham for almost 4 years as a Nurses. Although my job can be stressful at times, I love the interactions I get with patients and my coworkers. I get access to the most interesting information and get to see and participate in the most amazing feats in medicine (what more could I ask for). I work nights exclusively so my day/night cycle is a little screwy but I don't let that interfere with fun.

I'm a guy who just enjoys going with the flow, whatever happens-happens and I can be happy knowing that whatever it is...I can get through it.
I’m really good at
making fun of myself and calming down stressful situations. I have had several experiences in my life that help me empathize with a variety of situations making me applicable and helpful to a variety of people.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I don't really smile that much. It's not that I'm unhappy or's just my natural resting position, don't let it trick you..I'm actually a genuinely pleasant.

3. My Hammock
4. Music
5. Amazing hiking trails
6. Cheese, love me some cheese
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The life and times of the modern man. At some point along our journey we forgot what it meant to be "manly". The past 6-8 months I've spent reading and experiencing what made our forefathers such prime examples of manliness.
On a typical Friday night I am
I work nights so if I'm scheduled..I'd be at the hospital. However, If I'm not working I'll probably be at home watching a movie, at a pub playing Settlers of Catan with someone, or in my hammock reading.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
This is fairly geeky but I'm okay with it. Whenever I'm hiking I may notice a feature in the land that reminds me of a scene from the Lord of the Rings and immediately get excited thinking/planning ways to recreate it.
You should message me if
you are looking for new friends. I want to get out and explore North Carolina and meet some fun people while doing so. If something more develops then great, but at the very least I hope to make some friends.
