Firstly, "Fun is the best thing to have" (Arthur; 1981); secondly,
my name is Kenneth Smyth...now you can find me on Facebook. Hooray!
Thirdly, like most people, I exhibit a wide gamut of human emotion
with a preference for jesting and joking; that is, I like to laugh
and playfully tease. Conversely, serious discussion about current
events is also one of my favorite pastimes. For example, I feel it
is important to critically analyze the tools and technology, which
shapes and configures both ourselves and our society. In other
words, we should always question that which we are told, that which
we are given, and that which we construct.
I've a strong liberal political affiliation, though I don't attempt
to force these beliefs on other people.
In summary, and again, like most people, I'm "looking for someone
who can both laugh and be serious." However, these descriptions are
problematic due to their vagueness, as it is not clear which
subjects one acknowledges as warranting serious attention or about
what one like's to laugh. These subtle details can only be realized
through primarily face-to-face contact and conversation (i.e.
dating and fraternizing).
