Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Update 6-21-15: I'm taking myself off the market, recently met
someone on this site, not interested in dating anyone besides
I'm a single white male looking for a single female. I consider
myself to be bisexual, but have never really felt totally
comfortable dating other men. I have much love and respect for the
LGBTQ community, but am content with being predominantly
FYI, I consider myself young at heart. I am relatively youthful
looking and didn't really have a growth spurt until the end of high
school. I typically date folks who are younger than I am, since I
tend to have more in common with them than I do people my age.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
First and foremost, working full time and doing my best to support
I am also quite fond of brewing beer. I am a member of the Lincoln
Lagers, a contributor to Nebraska Beer Blog and enjoy helping to
judge AHA/BJCP affiliated Home Brewing contests whenever I get a
I have spent a great deal of time in the past year helping to plan

I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Useless trivia: I have a collection of trivial pursuit games.
Rocking out and singing along with my favorite songs
Discussing and helping to promote home brewing and craft beer
I'd also like to think that I am a pretty good brewer and a decent
vocalists, but that isn't really up for me to decide.

I would generally say that it is either my mustache or that I look
eerily similar to Dave Grohl. It kind of depends on my hair style
at the time and how much facial hair I currently have on my face. I
get asked if I realize how much I look like him alot, but I would
actually say my thin physique or my eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I like Philip Dick and Kurt Vonnegut novels, but I haven't read
many books lately.
Music: I have over 2,000 songs in my primary Spotify playlist and
listen to a wide variety of music. I find myself becoming a bit
more mainstream as I get older, and have gotten back into
Dance/Electronic music again. I still enjoy a lot of sad bastard
alt-country/folk music and will forever have a soft spot in my
heart for classic punk/metal music.
Film: Kubrick, Scorsese, Coen Brothers, Roger Corman, John Waters,
old slashed films, cult films, some generally horrendous examples
of the cinema. I also watch an occasional foreign film on
TV: I don't have cable, and it is rarely on.
Food: spicy, lots of meat, Thai, Indian, Mexican, BBQ, pizza,
pastries, baguettes, pasta, cheese, etc.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My family, especially my brother
3. At least one cup of coffee every morning
4. Having a beer with friends
5. being productive/feeling like I accomplished at least one thing
6. Eating meat
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
1. The health of my terminally ill brother/elderly parents
2. Going back to college
3. wishing I had the resources to open my own craft beer bar
4. Political issues and social problems
5. Why I am still living in Nebraska and where I would like to
travel/relocate if I could afford it.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At home for the most part. I usually have to work on Saturdays
and/or have something planned for the weekends and typically use
that night to unwind a little bit.
I enjoy going to craft beer tapping parties and First Friday Art
Walk when I do get out, and I am always looking to do something new
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I don't own an automobile. I learned to drive at the age of 15 like
nearly everyone else, but generally prefer to walk, ride a bike
and/or commute via public transport.
