Once I get over my initial shyness, I'm a very fun person who loves doing lots of non-job-related things. Going to concerts, traveling, taking my dog to the dog park, hanging out with friends, reading a good book, going on mission trips. I love museums! All kinds, really. The list could go on, but I'll stop there for now.

I'm an Early Intervention Service Coordinator. Most people don't know what that is, so I'll exlplain. I work with families of children birth to 3 years old who have or are at risk for developmental delays. This includes a range of kiddos from preemies to kids with autism to kids with Down Syndrome to kids who are just late talkers. I help the families get the services they need, write a service plan, and make sure everything is going smoothly while they're enrolled in early intervention.

Caring for other people and my epileptic dog. Which sometimes gets in the way of me caring for me...I guess that would be something I'm not so good at.

I'm good at other things too. I'm a good cook when I apply myself. I don't really like to cook, but I'm pretty good at it. I'm good at reading....maybe too much. I am possibly the world's best napper (on weekends only!)

Probably how quiet I am. I sometimes get the feeling that people think I'm a bit unfriendly, but I'm really not. Just shy at first. Once you get to know me, I'm a pretty talkative and funny gal.

Books: So hard to choose!!!!! I love anything by L.M.Montgomery. Nick Hornby, Greg Iles, The Harry Potter Series, Jane Austen, Shel Silverstein. I'm just starting to read some Neil Gaiman. I like it so far. I love A Clockwork Orange, though I haven't read it in years.
Music: Ryan Adams, Old 97's, Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, Uncle Tupelo, Son Volt, Tift Merritt, Kasey Chambers, Pete Yorn, Ray Lamontange, The Beatles, The Cure, and many, many more. I really love all kinds of music except most rap/R&B.
TV: Chuck, LOST, HIMYM, The Big Bang Theory, Northern Exposure, Keen Eddie, M*A*S*H*, The Waltons, 30 Rock, Dexter, Six Feet Under, Freaks and Geeks, The Golden Girls, Mad About You, Fringe
Movies: The Goonies, Dan In Real Life, Fever Pitch, Princess Bride, Annie, Breakfast At Tiffany's, Pride and Prejudice, Shaun of the Dead, Monty Python -- Life of Brian and Holy Grail; The Man from Snowy River
Food: I'm not so picky, really. I've never tried real sushi, so I hesitate to say I don't like it, but...
