My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm originally from the North East of England but have been touring since November, although that's now finished.

Well, my name is Mike and I work as a Musical Director and Piano/Vocal coach. I work with both adults and children and love the variety that brings.

When I'm not working I enjoy socialising, eating out, going to the gym, watching sports, watching films or just relaxing. I'm really into my comedies and have a dry, yet silly (and cheeky), sense of humor. I love to be around people who bring out the latter.

What am I looking for here? Well, first and foremost, someone to meet up with who is interested and interesting. Ideally I'd like to find something long term but that's thinking in the future. I very much want to find a connection with the right person. Whether I can find that person online is debatable but I'm willing to give it a shot!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've just finished a UK tour and an now looking forward to a holiday!

I'm also really into my fitness and diet. I've recently been on some singing workshops and first aid courses. I have a thirst for knowledge.

I also like to visit new countries. I've been to quite a few but would love to go to more. For years now I've wanted to visit New York. I think I'll go there once the tour finishes.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
This question isn't really for me to answer....
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I generally don't ask people to be able to answer this.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Music: My main love is Queen - such a massive influence on my life and my work. . Other than that rock, blues and jazz is my thing.

Books: I'd love to find more time to read. Previous books I've enjoyed include: Don Quixote, Inconceivable, Frankenstein (someone needs to do a PROPER film adaptation of this book), The Dark Tower Series, Red Dwarf, Past Mortem, Private Lives, War Of The Worlds ( and someone needs to do a PROPER film adaptation of this book too), Playing for Time, Nineteen Eighty-Four

Movies: I'd like to get into more foreign film but still haven't. Some of my favourite films include: Monty Python's Life of Brian, Die Hard, Spiderman, Ghostbusters, Indiana Jones, Pan's Labyrinth, Children of Men, The Constant Gardener, The Dreamers, Lost in La Mancha, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Ray, The Bridge on the River Kwai, Wicker Park, Little Miss Sunshine, The Lives of Others, It's a Wonderful Life, Rocky, Zodiac, Total Recall, Terminator, The Truman Show, The Wicker Man, Donnie Darko, Mrs. Doubtfire, As Good as It Gets, Falling Down, Downfall, Spaceballs.

Comedy: Ok this bit is important (which is why I've put it at the bottom....erm..) I tend not to watch TV, if I do there's a strong chance that it's to watch a comedy show of some kind, although I've recently started enjoying various documentaries and historical programs. If you like any of the following comedies we'll get on well: Fawlty Towers, Red Dwarf, Friends, Extras, Phoenix Nights, The Office, Blackadder, Bottom, Monty Python, Whose Line Is It Anyway?, The Simpsons, Black Books, The Inbetweeners and Alan Partridge. I've recently started watching shows on Netflix - Breaking Bad is pretty special isn't it!

Food: I'm really not a fussy eater :)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Only six? Surely we all have more than six...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
erm....thinking about....erm....what was the question?

Actually I seem to spend a lot of time thinking "Is that a bug climbing up the side of my monitor" before realising that it's Ok Cupid's tank game advert.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Nothing in my week is 'typical' so I could be doing anything. Last Friday I dressed up as a 70s disco DJ and announced the winners of a universal competition...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'll admit anything if I've done it...what is okcupid insinuating?
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You're interested in meeting up. I'm a big believer that you can gauge more from a person by meeting than sending dozens of messages to each other.

Also, if you're cute, funny and have a wicked sense of humour then get in touch - we'd get on fine! :)
