Hey all,
These are always tough, but here it goes. I'm a native So. Cal. guy who loves camping, reading, Disneyland, cuddling, and spending time with people. Sharing interests is nice, but that's not where a relationship is made. I believe it comes from the heart, and the rest has to build from there. I'm interested in dating, but am ultimately looking for the right woman. There's no harm in enjoying the comapny of a woman who may not end up being "her", just someone whom it is fun to hang out with and possibly build something lasting. I love being romantic, and even more so when it's appreciated!
My last fortune cookie said I was pretty much a sexy beast, and I ALWAYS believe my fortuine cookies ; ) ...well ladies?

Currently I enjoy my business as a handyman, but am looking forward to finishing school, and working in the feild of marriage and family therapy. I want to work in the elderly community becauase I've really grown to like them.
Outside the world of work and school I go to Starbucks in the morning to get some quiet reading time in, and counsel the kids who work there. I make pretty good use of my annual Disney pass on a slower weekend. I'm generally there...you guessed it, reading, listening to jazz, and maybe picking up a martini at the bar by the fireplace in the hotel lobby.
I'd love to go camping more often, but time just doesn't seem to allow. I enjoy spending time with friends whenever I get the chance.
I can enjoy active pursuits or more kickback stuff. It's all the same to me.

I haven't painted, or drawn much in a while, but people tell me I'm pretty darned good at it. I can fix most non-plumbing items around the house, and hold my own with anyone who wants to talk Shakespeare, Theology, or relationship stuff (but I prerfer lighter stuff for just chat) . I can camp the living daylights out of Huntington Lake, and women say I'm a really good kisser (you decide for yourself). I can cook a mean prime rib, and am able to fake my way around the kitchen fairly well. I'm also a really good listener. I can set your rearview mirrors to eliminate any blind spots, paralell park (that's a lie), eat celery quietly, remove spiders, foil villians, enthusiastically take mediocre pictures, immitate Barney Fife, tie a bowline knot and hold my breath for nearly a minute! I must be pretty funny too, because my cat thinks it's hillarious when I say "Aye lad, would you like a shot to the ribs" in a Scottish brogue. I have put women to sleep by telling them bed time stiories with my mallifluluous voice.

I'm one of the happiest people they've ever met, and I love to laugh! I don't look anywhere near my age. I have a book with me. My tastes are usually not their tastes...oh well.

Ooo, the list part. I love to read most non-fiction. My current favorite is Godel Escher Bach, but I also like Huckleberry Finn, most anything by John Calvin, or about Kurt Godel. I love history, Shakespeare captured the human drama better than anyone ever has, just about anything by Tom Robins (Jitterbug Perfume), Dostoevsky, Camus, Sartre, Jonathon Edwards, and I drool over Augustine and Plato, Michael Pollan has a great list of food science books, and Johnathon Weiner writes science well too. blah blah blah. My favorite movies tend to be older. I really like John Wayne. Night of the Hunter, 12 Angry men . I enjoy quirky comedies like The Big Lebowski, Best in Show, Napoleon Dynamite, Little Voice or Cold Comfort farm. Film Noir is always fun, and I love those old black and white gangster movies. Music: Old Genesis, Blonde Redhead, The Decemberists, Dexter Gordon, Kiss, Johnny Cash, Peggy Lee, Led Zeppelin, Niel Young, Rufus Wainwrite, Dinah Washington, John Lee Hooker, Tom Waits, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, Scott Joplin!!!, Ella Fitgerald, Rush, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, The Talking Heads, Black Sabbath, Charles Mingus, Hildegard Von Bingen, Lila Downs, The OSHA building code (I just made that one up) The Temptations and a host of others Im very easy to please food wise. I like anything that's not too exotic (that looks back at me, or can talk), but I'm overall a basic meat and potatos guy. Mexican, Itallian, Chinese, Thai, Japanese...it's all good!

Friends, music, books, camping, Disneyland, you, bomaby sapphire dirty martinis with three olives, an occasional concert and a great burger.

What I wrote sounds good to you, there is limited drama in your life, you're not too worried about the fact that you either do or don't have kids (either way is fine by me), the fact that you may not have read anything that I might have is a total non-issue to me (I could care less what you read...sort of), you thank the busboy for refilling your water (BIG!), you don't bark "I can get the door for myself you chauvanist pig!", you love to talk, cuddle, kiss, enjoy the peace and quiet, go out to hear the noise, stay in to just be together:
