Hi! I'm Maria, I'm nineteen and homegrown from Minnesota. I now live in DePere, WI going to St. Norbert College and love wearing my purple jersey in the land of green and gold :) I am majoring in Elementary education and can not wait to become a teacher. I am passionate about helping children and learning and also plan to work possibly with special ed. children too. I work as a swimming teacher and lifeguard and also nanny full time during the summers. I love camping, fishing, swimming, and kayaking. I also love watching hockey and football. I love to go out with my friends and party but i could just as easily stay in cook and cuddle with my man. I love music and couldn't live without it. I love this simple things and don't like to get caught up in the routine of everyday life. I think it's important to live life everyday stopping to enjoy things and doing what you want, not just what others want you to do and most of all just have fun. :)

Movies: Into the Wild, Crash, It Takes Two, American Pie movies, The Hangover, The Notebook, Donnie Darko, The Saw movies, Paris Je'taime, Love Actually, too many to name i guess, those are just some but comedy, horror, and films that make you think are my favorite.

Books: too many to name, i love into the wild, writings by henry david thoreau, ralph waldo emerson, the five people you meet in heaven, the the last lecture

Food: Chinese! is my favorite but I love it all haha

music: i listen to just about everything, music is an essential part of life. it definitely depends on the mood i'm in, i love country, rock, hiphop and alternative. but some favorites are: atmosphere, the fray, john mayer, jack's mannequin, system of a down, incubus, brand new, straylight run, mae, three days grace, coldplay, johnny cash, montgomery gentry, sugarland, sublime, blink182, the googoo dolls, lady antebellum, rascall flatts, jason aldean, redhot chili peppers and dave matthews band!
