Hello everyone my name is Alex :) This is the first time I have been on an online dating site so I am new to this kind of thing.

At first I may appear shy but once I get to know you i open up. I like a sense of humor. Why be so serious all the time? I am very extroverted and always spending time with friends on the weekend after a long week of work and school.

I am looking for a serious relationship where i can be adventurous, spontaneous, and try new things. I want to be with someone who can be silly, active, and hold real intellectual conversations which is hard to come by these days. I want someone who is willing to push me to become even better, to succeed and work hard and vice versa.

I love to travel the world and meet new people. Going for a hike, playing tennis, talking, listening, giving advice, watching films and having intellectual conversations are some of my favorite things to do.

I am currently a senior at SCSU who is graduating in May 2013 with a B.A. in Spanish. I have always liked working with people so I plan to work in Human Services for a year after I graduate and before I go for my Masters in Social work and TESOL. This past summer I stayed in Toledo, Spain for six weeks working at YMCA Toledo as part of my internship. I taught kids from ages 3-12 in English. I also worked for Junta for Progressive Action where I taught an Adult Basic Education course in Spanish. I taught native spanish speakers how to read and write in Spanish. I also did an internship at a senior center this past summer working with the seniors as well as doing administrative work.

My friends tell me that Im really good at listening to other people, and being there for others. I am good at fundraising, networking, and hosting events. And as a future Social Worker/teacher, i am great working with a diverse group of people :)
