My self-summary
I am always game to try anything and try to push myself to do more all the time. You know that Baz Luhrmann video/song "Everyone's Free to Wear Sunscreen"? I think I heard that as a kid and it really stuck with me.

I find myself observing people a lot, often asking for advice just to hear a story, and being very open about my own life (I used to draw a comic called sex is awkward about peoples sexual misadventures). I think I plan on having nothing ever figured out because there's always more to learn about everything.

My grandmother keeps telling me "the key to life is a sense of humor about yourself" and since all we when we're together is make fun of each other and laugh I think I will be able to relax and enjoy life.
What I’m doing with my life
I work as a freelance web designer/developer and I love it. A lot. Mostly because I get to wear my pj's, stay in bed, and make my own schedule.
I also do event coordination for the city which is super fun.
I spend a lot of time trying to find more time for personal projects like a book about my grandmother/family that I've been working on or how to sell all my stuff and live in a tiny house (have you seen those? They're awesome!)
I’m really good at
Dancing to music in grocery stores, making people laugh or at least smile, having deep, existential, anthropological conversations, falling asleep anywhere, calculating a tip, losing my (fill in the blank), and making rockin' mixed cds.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: No One Belongs Here More Than You by Miranda July.
The B.F.G. by Roald Dahl. This large, beautifully written picture book about Georgia O'Keeffe... and many others. I own a lot of books and I've read about half of them.

Movies & TV: Netflix. I watch a lot of tv while working so I've seen a lot of shows. Favorite movies? Old Boy, Harold & Maude, Amelie. I am awesome about discussing tv but I also think it's such an empty subject... if you find that interesting at all you should definitely message me.

Music: The Eels, Ratatat, Arcade Fire, Hot Chip, Session Americana, 90's music, The Beatles, Elton John, Robyn, etc. I like going to local music/house shows but don't attend many big concerts.

Food: I have tried a lot of things and I still like BLT's a lot. However, Ethiopian and Tibetan food are two of my favorites.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Things I could get away with saying out loud if I were old.
