My Self-Summary

I´m an Icelandic guy who recently finished grad school in Boston. I am really quite happy with my life. I have a great job, good friends, get to travel often and speak several languages fluently. I go to concerts quite a lot, and my life pretty much revolves around music and art. I´m thoughtful, compassionate, sincere, and will not mess around with other people´s heads.

Wow. Big question. I hope I´m making a difference, both in my work and for the people I love.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Blindness, Crime and Punishment, Saturday, Atonement, anything music-related.

Movies: Adaptation, After the Wedding, In the Valley of Elah, Pan´s Labyrinth, Volver, Juno, The Lives of Others. Also: Mamma Mia, Sound of Music, Mary Poppins. Yes, I´m that kind of guy.

Music: Anything classical, especially Bach, Mozart, Stravinsky and really old stuff that very few people have heard of. Also, Björk, Sigur rós, Rufus Wainwright and Teitur Lassen. And, I´ve just been reminded, Ella Fitzgerald, Stephen Sondheim, Miles Davis, and lots of other stuff. Seriously, I could write the longest "music I like" list known to man.

Food: Japanese, Italian, Thai, Indian. Chocolate is also crucial to my well-being. And orange juice, although not at the same time as chocolate. I don´t drink coffee.
