I love traveling, I specially abroad, and do so as often as possible. I lived in Hong Kong for 2 years which allowed me some great travel in Asia. I enjoy cooking, but don't take the time to really get into recipes as often as I'd like. I love reading and movies. I like to watch television, but also to get out and hike or walk. In the summer I also like to kayak when I get the chance. I'm willing to try new things- activities, foods, movies and/or books.

I'm a talker, but also a really good listener, according to my friends. I'm an aunt and loving it. Though my niece and nephew live overseas I see them as often as possible. Overall I'm just a nice, fairly simple and easy-going person.

I am thoughtful, caring, and honest

I'm a Spanish teacher at the high school level. I am also a Sunday school teacher for 2nd & 3rd graders at my Unitarian Universalist church. I like kids of all ages.

I started a master's degree this summer at the Middlebury College Spanish School. With 4 summers of classes I'll be done and I'll be able to work as I get my degree. This past summer was an amazing experience and I can't wait for next summer so I can go back. Middlebury sets it up as an immersion program. You live in dorms, go to meals and have class all in Spanish. There are social events, lectures and movies all in the target language too. A fabulous 6 weeks!

I'm also always looking ahead to my next trip. Though I'm not sure where I'll go next I love just thinking over the options and working out a plan.

I'm really good at listening and at making people feel comfortable talking with me. I'm good at my job and I'm also a good friend.

People usually notice I speak quickly.

I like a wide variety of music from the soundtracks to movies/musicals to jazz to accapella, spanish language artists/groups and much more random works. My taste in movies and television is similarly varied. I like most movies that I see- I love the movies of Pedro Almodovar and find those of Luis Bunuel interesting, anything Spanish language is worth a look. I'm currently using netflix to watch Lost and Prison Break.

Books are hard. I love Jane Austen and J.R.R Tolkien. I read a lot of fantasty fiction like Robert Jordan, Terry Goodkind and Trudi Caravan, along with many others. But I mix up my genres most of the time and I'm usually reading more than one book at a time.

Family, Friends, Books, Travel, Coffee & DVDs (movies and/or TV).

My family & friends, some of whom I don't get to see often enough. My work, planning the week ahead and keeping track of what I need to do. Travel and the world at large- both the good and the bad.

Home recovering from the work week but thinking I should be out doing something more interesting. I usually recharge Fridays and then use Saturdays for going out if I want to.
