I'm reluctantly joining okcupid at the insistence of a several of my guy friends who all seem to be enjoying themselves. We'll see where this goes...

I'm originally from Massachusetts, but I went to college in New Orleans and then moved back to Boston for grad school and work. I love going out in and around Boston, whether it be to bars and clubs with friends or to see a concert, play, or sporting event. I'm pretty much up for anything.

I could spend all day watching sports and drinking with the boys, but also like to dress up and be girly from time to time. I'm far from high maintenance.

I have the travel bug ALL THE TIME. In the last year alone, I've visited Las Vegas, New Orleans, Maine, Orlando, Richmond and South Africa. My goal is to visit all 7 continents before the time I'm 30 - Antartica is the only one left!

I collect stories -- I'm not afraid to talk to just about anyone and people seem to find me approachable, so I've met a lot of interesting people. I love ridiculous stories.

I have dual-citizenship.

I've ditched the early-morning spin classes for running and ran a 10K earlier this year.

I'm a "work hard, play hard" girl. I work as a project manager for an international market research and consulting firm. I find the work really interesting and challenging. We are constantly investigating new things for a variety of clients and I work with awesome people. The hours can be a challenge, but I make sure to get out and have fun whenever I can.

I can get kind of loud when I get excited. Don't worry, it's a good thing.

I'm all over the place when it comes to music, shows and movies. I heart Bon Jovi and Ludacris (who is awesome live). I've been to see the Dropkick Murphys multiple times :) Having gone to college in New Orleans, I also have an appreciation for both country and jazz music -- I'll listen to just about anything.

I'm addicted to Netflix. I love Dexter, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Lost, Weeds, True Blood, Game of Thrones, Homeland, Law & Order: SVU, and 5 million other TV shows. I'll give just about any movie or tv show suggested to me by a friend (or Netflix) a try. My absolute favorites vary on my mood and I'm always keeping my eyes open for new ones.

When it comes to food, I'm a self-proclaimed pescapolitarian. I only eat seafood, poultry, and vegetarian dishes, but within those three categories I'll try just about anything.

Out! ...with friends or co-workers, at a bar, dancing, at karaoke, a concert or a game. I make the most of my free time.

- I have a habit of shortening words and phrases in a way that nobody else does and I sometimes have to explain it after ("preesh" = "I appreciate it").
