I am an easy-going and low maintenance guy. Generally I prefer intellectual activities to physical ones but I do love to be outside. I grew up exploring the beautiful woods and hills of Wisconsin and still like to wander. I am always honest. I don't like to be lied to or deceived, therefore I don't lie or deceive. Life is too short for that kind of silliness. Other kinds of silliness can be fun. I am a devoted father of two sweet little girls.

I don't want to define the sort of person I'm looking for because I believe there are appealing and lovable aspects to everyone, and people naturally change with time and can be unpredictable. Sometimes that's good! I don't do drama, and I'd rather be honest and face possible rejection than tell lies and screw everything up.

If you were hoping for shirtless photos or pictures of my prize deer head, I'm happy to disappoint you. My ideas about what makes a man are a bit different than that.

I work at a dental lab and live alone in a house which I own, and have 50/50 custody of the kids.

Listening. Solving Jumbles and Cryptoquotes. Playing and talking with little kids. Imitating accents. Not judging people. Remaining calm when rushed. Drying tears. Picking the slowest line at the grocery store. I love to draw and paint in my free time. I also create electronic music. And I always put the toilet seat back down.

The sparkle in my eye, the happy little grey hairs in my beard, the way my hair wafts ever so gently in the breeze, the magnetic warmth of my very presence - wait that's too many things to notice at once. You can answer this when we meet.

I love a wide variety of music from 70s rock to modern electronic or ethnic styles from around the world. I have a particular fondness for experimental and abstract forms in music and art. My tastes generally lean toward the surreal and spooky. When alone I watch old-school sci-fi and horror movies or foreign films, mostly samurai films as I have an interest in Japan. Never much liked sea food, but have been loving Thai and Indian food lately. I mostly read non-fiction books, philosophy or sacred texts of the world. Love learning about other cultures. At work I listen to the Stephanie Miller Show and NPR.

When I have the kids we are in the back yard or drawing pictures or reading to each other. When alone I'm cleaning or trying to be creative, but often just streaming Netflix through the Wii.

you aren't the average Wisconsin girl, and you aren't looking for the average Wisconsin guy. If you prefer books to cable tv and you don't know what's going on in the lives of celebrities. If you like to be lovingly pawed and licked with a warm nose buried in your ear - my cat Kashi would be happy to do that for you.
Based on the disclaimers I've seen on some women's profiles, I feel I should make a disclaimer of my own. I am not looking for easy sex, I am not looking for a mother for my children (or for myself,) I will not send you lewd photos, and to the best of my ability I will use proper grammar. And should I be lucky enough to meet you, I will bathe and comb my hair first. Frankly I think it's sad that I should even have to say all that. It's always those jerks who ruin it for the nice guys.
