I am a second year at The University of Texas at Austin; I'm a double major in biology and WGS(women and gender studies). I'm not quite sure where I want to go with this at the moment but I was thinking graduate studies in social work... maybe work for public heath in the area of sexual education.

My original interest in the site was to date, what has actually occurred was I ended up having a few sexual relationships that never went anywhere, for that reason my only intention at this point is good conversation. I am looking to date but not until I figure someone is worth dating, so we'll see. Oh and apparently men have a hard time getting this lately, my purpose here is not sex solely, don't get me wrong love sex, alot, but I refuse to be in anymore situations where the sole purpose is sex, friendship is good, relationship is better (mainly because that one actually involves sex), don't contact me if the only purpose is to get laid.

Currently my focus is school and that is about it. I did just get a part time job in retail, just for spending money while in school.

School mainly, but my friends always said I was good at giving advice. I can be very agressive if I find something that I feel worth the effort... sometimes over agressive but it gets the point across.

You'll have to ask them, I'm sad to say that at first introduction I tend not to speak up too much, so I'm not sure how long it takes people to notice my personality. I'm quite talkative after the initial introduction though.

Food is definitely Italian.
Music I generally like everything, play it I'll let you know if I like it, though I have a soft spot for stuff that would be considered classic 80's and 90's style music.
I am a movie fanatic so I like everything in that category as well, though I have a small preference to sci-fi and horror movies.
Books is a tough category because I'm normally so swamped with school that I don't have much time to read for fun. I like sci-fi books and books with a worth while story, and of course I've read the Harry Potter books.

What an idiot I am sometimes and what a horrible idea being on this site is sometimes for my emotional wellness.....

Hanging out with friends watching a movie or something like that. I'm under 21 so I don't go out that much to like 6th street or anything. Even if I was of age I think I would still rather sit at home with some friends, though I do love a good night out every now and again.

There is generally nothing I'm not willing to admit, I am an open person and if you have a question feel free to ask.
I recently discovered that I am obsessed with sex and not in the way that allows someone to come on to me like a sleaze. I am obsessed with discussing sex in an objective and educational way, everything about it from pregnancy to STDs, from anatomy to stimulation, there is nothing I don't enjoy abut the subject, though I prefer to discuss things in an anatomically correct way. Again, this does not make me a sex addict or nympho, I enjoy a healthy sex life as much as the next person but my personal interest in it goes beyond the physical aspects of it and is more about knowledge than anything.

You like real tea, as in with milk and sugar, English style, or in my case Irish style.

You have an open mind. I am a very liberal person and it is important for the people I am around to be accepting. My mother is a lesbian and I am an advocate for gay rights, I am pro choice, not religious but believe in the right to worship how you wish, and a proud liberal. I am proud of who I am and need people who get where I am coming from. You don't have to share my beliefs but be nice about it.

I'm not as serious as I sound. I'm actually a lot more relaxed than I let on, I just throw everything out up front to not give a false impression of my self. So if you just want to chat I won't attack I promise...... well mostly promise :P
