My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a little bit country and a little bit rock and roll.

I have a pug named Penny Lane, though I'd have to say I prefer the Rolling Stones to the Beatles.
I think Tina Fey is a genius of sorts, and I hold a lot of the same beliefs, opinions and habits as Liz Lemon.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now, working, and living. Trying not to let the former interfere too much with the latter.

I work for a cable channel that you very likely have strong negative opinions about. (NOT Fox News...I would never...Unless they were willing to give me a 100% raise, pay off all my student loans, and allow me to nap at my desk whenever I wanted.)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
small home repairs. Seriously, for a girl I can swing a pretty mean hammer. I also get a high off assembling Ikea furniture.
singing loudly and off-key in the shower or car
eating almost anything
I'm awesome at brick-breaker. I'm training for the 2020 Olympics. I really think it'll be a professional sport by then.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes can get really blue and sometimes people ask me if I'm wearing colored contacts. I'm never sure if I'm supposed to take it as an insult or a compliment. Because sometimes those colored contacts look pretty ridiculous on people.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I apologize for the length of this but I happen to be passionate about all of the above (then again, who isn't?) As Rob Gordon would say, "what really matters is what you like, not what you're like."

Reading the Goldfinch. My favorite book is the Bell Jar.

Movies: High Fidelity, Forrest Gump, Outside Providence, V for Vendetta, Anchorman, Kill Bill(s), Annie Hall, Benny and Joon, The Royal Tenenbaums, Amelie, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, American Beauty, Best in Show

Tv (yes i took the liberty of adding this section): Arrested Development, Family Guy, the Daily Show, 30 Rock, Game of Thrones, Mad Men, Ru Paul's Drag Race. Broad City and Inside Amy Schumer are new faves...I really appreciate Comedy Central picking them up and showing the world that women can be just as disgusting and awful as men.

Music: of all-time...Bob Dylan, the Stones, Van Morrison, Velvet Underground, Ani Difranco. Since the rest of this list is ridiculously long, I'll just say that currently I'm listening to a crap-load of Ray Lamontagne. MAN that guy can sing. Also some Otis Redding and Ben Harper thrown in there. And Vampire Weekend. And the Ramones.

Food: I love sushi and most Asian cuisines. Korean barbecue is awesome. I love south american, AREPAS, thai, African, Turkish, Indian...I really haven't met many foods that I don't like. But I live and die for pickles, GOOD macaroni and cheese, eggplant parmigiana, goat cheese, miso soup, and really really good salsa.
And I love beer. Watch it go down, down to my belly.
Oh, and I eat more soup than a 70 year old man.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My pug
good chapstick..Burt's medicated is top notch
summer/flip flops
a really comfy bed
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I'm usually wondering what my dog would say if she could talk. Sometimes I'm thinking about moving to South America or California.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Probably getting some dinner and beers somewhere with my friends or my sister and my cousin. Either that or laying in bed snuggled with my dog, watching a movie and resting my achin' feet after a long week
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Sometimes I still like turning on Sesame Street. It's oddly comforting.
