a smart ass, genuine, and a little shy
My self-summary Propose an edit
I am a non-confrontational smart ass by nature. I am very
sarcastic, but I can tone it down and behave when I need to. I
don’t like to fight with people, but I will stand up for what I
believe in and I will never back down in defense of a friend. I
live for the small things in life and I work really hard sometimes
to brighten someone else’s day. I don’t always trust people easily,
but once you’ve earned it I’ll believe in you forever. I am
continually amazed by what people can accomplish and I try to never
underestimate anyone. I am addicted to caffeine and you’d do well
not to come between me and my coffee. I am pretty generally in a
good mood and when I’m really happy I have a tendency to burst into
song. I also enjoy pretending that I can play the piano even though
I have no idea what to do with one other than sit behind it.
What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit
I'm currently working on my final year of a bachelor's degree in
social work. This year I am a full-time student, an intern, and I
work in a facility for developmentall disabled adults. After
graduation, I plan to work for awhile and then go back and complete
a master's degree so that I can get my license to practice clinical
social work.
I'm really good at Propose an edit
Making people laugh is one of my favorite things. People who know
me well know that if I can't make a joke out of something, then
it's truly awful. I'm also good at listening to people. I can't
recall the number of times someone has told me something and then
said, "I've never told anyone that..."
The first thing(s) people usually notice about me Propose an edit
I don't know, but I hope it's something good. I would say my sense
of humor probably sticks out because I use it to diffuse awkward
situations. If I'm being quiet, then I guess my insanely curly hair
is probably what gets noticed first.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit
I love all of these categories. I read everything from Jane Austen
to Harry Potter. I watch movies all the time and I could never name
a favorite. I love comedies, drama, action, the occasional musical
or horror flick, and sometimes I just have to watch a chick flick.
I listen to a lot of music from different genres. I like country,
but I also listen to the beatles, the stones, ac/dc, collective
soul, frank sinatra...pretty much anything.

I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit
Right now I spend a lot of time thinking about the future.
Working/interning/full time student is a busy schedule and it takes
up a lot of my thought processes. I'm also trying to figure out
exactly what it is I want to do with my degree.
On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit
Probably out with some friends. We may be in a bar, at a party, or
just in someone's apartment hanging out. It's also possible that
I'll be sitting in my pajamas watching a movie.
The most private thing I'm willing to admit here Propose an edit
My greatest fear is spending the rest of my life alone.
