My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi, my name is Meghan and I'm an upstate (Rochester) girl by way of MN and WI that now calls Manhattan home.

I've been living here since 2004 and have no real plans to leave. Weekends are for being outside in the park by my place, boozy brunch with friends, rec softball games (in the summer) ski trips in the winter.

I have a bike that I take up and down the Westside highway. I would like to venture in, but would rather have someone to do that with. Should I get hit by a car, I'd like to have someone hold my hand in the ambulance. Edit - bike is gone, long story. Now I have to attempt to look cute while jogging, ugh.

My dad makes me laugh more than any other person I know. He has instilled in me a great sense of humor, a drive to work hard, and a love of the Yankees.

As far as goals and aspirations go - I'm truly trying to live a better lifestyle for myself, mind (crossword puzzles count?), body (over the last 3 months, I've since lost 25 lbs* (edit - as of July - make that 40) still not done, but I'm in the gym or doing some kind of physical activity 5 days a week ) and soul (I'm a big believer in Karma. If you do good things, good things will come your way, and vice versa).

I think I have a pretty great life, I'm not perfect, but I'm happy, confident, and blessed with what I have. The best anyone can do is try to be better, which in my opinion is a continual process.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work in radio, it's usually more fun than stressful, it always leaves me with a story or two. Perks do come with the job, ie. concert tickets, but it's usually last minute... which is half the fun of it. I'm a big fan of live music. I feel lucky to have seen some of the biggest spectacles, but also special hole in the wall performances.

I travel about 3-4 times a year for work and lately it's all been new cities which keeps life and work interesting. I would love to travel more for fun, but I seem to spend more money traveling for weddings, and baby showers these days.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Parallel parking

Remembering faces

Pie. I make great pie.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My dimples. I think they're weird but people seem notice them, but if I've only known you for ten minutes please don't put your finger in them. Yes it's happened and it's weird.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Not counting friends and family:

Kindle/iPhone
Contacts/glasses/sun glasses
Hot shower
Q-tips - full disclosure: I have a weird clean ear obsession.
Good Karma

Without getting too risqué I will add sex to this list. Not just because its fun and um satisfying, but because of the connection and companionship that goes along with this very important aspect of a relationship
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Should I leave it all behind and open a pie shop

Also why do a majority of you fellas have the word taco in your profile name? Am I missing something? Am I super naive to think we all just want someone to share Taco Tuesday with?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually the gym, and then either home to recoup, or out with friends for a fun night out at dinner/drinks, maybe a little karaoke. (I'm more of a watcher, sing along, sometimes point and laugh-er, but with the right amount of alcohol I will hold a mic and sing something with a little help.)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
There is a rumor going around that I was on my college's hip-hop dance team. I can neither confirm nor deny.

You like a girl with a little curve, you appreciate the quality of a good suit, and a little black dress, but would be looking forward to an evening under a blanket instead. You have a dry sense of humor, can dish it out, and enjoy when it's given right back at ya. Oh and you like pie. Because sometimes I make pie, and then a whole pie sits on my counter with one piece taken out for like a week and then I have to throw it away, and I hate being wasteful like that.

Oh and you can teach me more about hockey. I want this to be my new interest.

So I'm not currently doing the A-list thing so if you saw something that you liked you should just say so. :)
