My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'd like to think I'm a really fun person to be around.I'm still a big kid. I read comics, (hardly a surprise when you grew up with an uncle working for Marvel comics) play video games, and I love cartoons and animation in general. I'm generally an indoorsy person (most of my hobbies are indoorsy), but I love being outside and taking walks, and I'm always up for a hike or a drive. I love taking road trips and traveling, sadly with 2 jobs I don't get to all that often. I'm a little shy at first, but I warm to people quickly.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm training towards becoming a Voice Actor. I've always been interested in the field and recently found a way to pursue it. While I'll probably do any work that comes my way, long term goals would be to get into video games and possibly cartoons.

I currently work at Albany Medical Center in their Marketing PR dept. as well as weekend shifts at my uncle's liquor store (for extra pocket change and discounts on wine.

I fence (the sword variety, not the flip stolen goods for money variety). I'd always wanted to learn this sport, and I'm super excited I'm finally able to.

I travel a bit. I hit a few conventions each year, as well as a relaxing week at Disney World for the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot (break out the fat pants, cuz I eat all the eats!)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Baking. I love making cookies and breads and pies, though I have yet to try my hand at making a cake from scratch.

6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon. Mainly because I watch a lot of movies.

Board games. I'm a gracious loser, but that's only because I win so much.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Generally it's my sense of humor, but lately I'd have to go with my handlebar mustache. That's right, I'm rocking the facial hair of olde tyme boxers and circus strongmen. Now to just find the perfect bonecrusher bicycle to go with it...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Since these lists are a bit long, I'm dropping them all down to my 5 favs (except food)

Books: Lord of the Rings, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, the Song of Ice and Fire series, the Harry Potter series, The Princess Bride

TV: Farscape, The Venture Brothers, Futurama, Community, Parks and Recreation, Game of Thrones (Orange is the New Black really wants to horn in on this top 5)

Movies: Army of Darkness, BigTrouble in Little China, My Fair Lady, The Fifth Element, The Princess Bride.

My favorite bands are Rush, Foo Fighters, Flogging Molly, and Fair to Midland, but I like a little bit of everything.
Also, I have to add Brendon Small to my absolute favorites. He created the cartoons Home Movies and Metalocalypse, but it turns out he's kind of an amazing musician. I've been listening to the Doomstar Requiem: a Klok Opera pretty non stop lately. I may have a problem.

Food: Pretty much anything. I'll try everything once (unless it has mushrooms or black olives in it and I can't pick them out easily, I hate those)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Samoas (yes, i put girl scout cookies over friends and family, does that make me a bad person or just a cookie lover?)
my friends
my family
The Internet
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Currently, GenCon, as it's happening next weekend.

Whether or not I should start contacting people with the highest Enemy % on here, asking if they'd like to be my arch-nemesis.

How much fun Ireland was and how much i want to go back.

How nightmarish the Land of Ooo really is. I mean seriously, if you pay attention, Adventure Time is totally not a kids show.

English and the nature of this troll tongue that imposes rules on me just to break them (I before e except after c, or when leisurely studying the science of species). Plus, you've got to love a language that let's you spell "fish" as "ghoti".
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Stopping into my uncle's liquor store for a wine tasting, sometimes catching a movie with friends, or a beer. The occasional Friday board game night also happens.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I like spending the $1 presidential coins. It kinda makes me feel like a pirate.
