My Self-Summary
Well let me tell you a little bit about myself. I've been a so cal kid for most of my life. I kinda work like a mad man which doesn't lead to too much free time. The area is pretty mellow with some good hiking trails as well as the beach being fairly close as well. I also enjoy art and films, and have a fairly hard time putting down Thomson or Palahniuk books. I am kind of a live music kind of guy, and love to go find some great live jazz bars (which I still haven't found around the area). One of my biggest passions is soccer, played it for many of years and now have somewhat moved on to coaching young girls. Staying fit is something that I truly take pride in.
I feel like I am a cheap hooker when trying to describe myself on something like this. Its almost like that feeling of not trying to make yourself seem like you are better than everyone else, but at the same time you do want to show some great qualities that you do have. If i lived in my dream world, we work either 3 or 4 days a weeks so we could enjoy life a little bit more.
My ultimate goal in life is to become a high school counselor. My BA is in sociology with the concentration of counseling, which i feel has gone to absolute waste with these jobs that I have had. I am still confused why we live in a society where it is frowned upon if you do not go to college... I feel like all you learn there is how to cheat and play interesting games like three man, beer pong, or grenades. I guess i shouldn't really complain that much as school was paid which makes it nice to come out of college with more money than you went in with... apparently not a feat that most people come across when they just paid 60k for a piece of paper that you frame.
In terms of my musical preference, I really do enjoy all types of music. A few of my favorite bands, or artist are; Daft Punk, The Beatles, Zero 7, Bennie Bennasi, Stevie Ray, Citizens Cope, Gorillaz, Cronic Future, Breaking Benjamins, and the list could go on for days. If you can think of an artist that sounds unlike anything else please please please let me know. That would be greatly appreciated. I also like watching live music, like B.B King at the Canyon Club... honestly, I do not know why he was there but I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
I guess that would lead me to the next thing that I enjoy. There is nothing like gulping down a cold on on a hot day when you have nothing to worry about. My beer of choice would probably have to go in this order... first, X X amber, second, stella, third, bud light. I am also a whiskey drinker which for some odd reason just sounds amazing to me right now.

films is a tough one, with Donnie Darko, Garden State, Spun, Fear and Loathing, Fight Club, Boondock Saints, A Scanner Darkly, Matrix and maybe 300 topping my list as of right now
Anything live music i dig, really into classic rock, jazz, and some new rock, ska, and a little underground hip hop artist from Daft Punk, The Beatles, Zero 7, Bennie Bennasi, Stevie Ray, Citizens Cope, Gorillaz, Cronic Future, Breaking Benjamins, Led, Jimi, Ratatat, Pink Floyd, Ella, Nat King Cole, Carlos Santan, Sublime, Slightly Stoopid, Jay-Z ... tons of classic rock, i feel like if you don't like it you probably haven't heard enough of it
Love sushi, cajun, mexican, or anything deep fried (and the workouts that follow)
