I was born and raised in San Diego, and I spent nearly 20 years of my life studying French horn in order to play professionally in some orchestra somewhere, or record movie soundtracks, eventually graduating with a degree in music from USC. However, I spent even more time collecting mushrooms, jumping through windows in slow motion, rocking out, saving the world, and killing waves of the undead. So the next logical step? Give up what I had been studying my entire life and become a game designer. Obviously.

Video game designer by day, awesome by night. Crunching numbers, adjusting stats, creating feature sets, designing and building environments, modelling buildings... The inner workings of game development aren't as exciting as some people might think, but I have a blast doing what I do. As of right now? I'm looking for a new studio in which I can flex my creative muscle. The current job environment is just depressing around the office, and it's time for a fresh start working on something new. While I search, though, I'm designing a platformer where the the main characters' super power revolves around facial hair (yup), and I'm also in the middle of building a massive open world zombie apocalypse survival game. But let's be honest, who isn't these days?

Cooking, memorizing random (and generally useless) things, making sound effects with my mouth (if you hear crickets, 90% of the time it's probably me), being weird, playing the French horn, and Guitar Hero. I've played way too much Guitar Hero...

Books: Currently reading World War Z. Honestly it's the first book I've read in a while (never been much of a reader).

Movies: Star Wars, Terminator 2, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Pulp Fiction, Jurassic Park, Lord of the Rings, Kill Bill, The Green Mile, Zombieland, Shaun of the Dead, Army of Darkness, 28 Days Later, Lock Stock 2 Smoking Barrels, Snatch, The Dark Knight, Team America, Anchorman, Alien, Lion King, Toy Story, A Bugs Life (pretty much anything Pixar)... I could really go on forever.

TV: Arrested Development, Futurama, Archer, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Lost, Breaking Bad, Good Eats, Phineas and Ferb (I have nephews. Don't judge), Battlstar Galactica, 30 Rock, Dexter, and I'm just now discovering how awesome Community is.
