Your Notes
Edit your notesI am controversial, contradictory, and completely honest.
My Self-Summary
I'm a 20 year old blonde gay pagan vegetarian pro-choice animal rights supporter, with severe bookworm tendencies and a habit of dissecting films i've just seen, and declaring various parts "utter cinematic genius" in what I hope is an obviously ironic gesture of sickening pretentiousness, but probably sounds more like the ramblings of a faux-intellectual with the artisic comprehension of a small kiwi.
I'm also a bit random, as you may have gathered! Wanna do loads of things in my life but just can't be arsed at the mo.
I like to think I would have been a great hippie, and I wouldn't be caught dead wearing something I didn't buy purely because I liked it, or because it's a bit out there.
I hate the idea of large corporations taking over our shopping experiences, and have therfore boycotted macdonalds since i was 13. I'm also completely in love with starbucks, and would marry a soyamilk chai tea latte with a shot of peppermint if given half the chance. If you can make sense of that, then please do let me know.
I have no patience for stupid people, although my definition of a stupid person is not someone who isn't intellectual, it is someone who has made no effort to better themselves or the human race, be it intellectually, physically, emotionally, spiritually, or even just socially.
I can be annoying and lovely and it is up to the personality of the other person as to how i come across.
I would love to find the perfect man, get married, have kids, and live together for the rest of our lives. I also don't want to have to keep looking, so i'm enjoying my life and the fun that can be had in it as much as I want, while at the same time observing from the corner of my eye those around me, hoping to find the man of my dreams. No luck as of yet, but there you go!
What I’m doing with my life
I'm on my 2nd gap year now, working part time, looking for a full time job, because I need money for uni, when I eventually decide to go!
I wanna study counselling, I do it anyway, I might as well get paid!
Well, that's me updated for now!
I’m really good at
...and if you know what the word doublespeak means and where it comes from, your score has just shot through the roof!
The first things people usually notice about me
But I love to listen to people talk, and hope one day to make a career from it, but ideally I would love to spend my life writing.
As long as people are not talking uneducated bullshit repeated verbatim from the last tabloid rag they read, they are fine in my books. Anyone and anything is welcome in my life so long as they are not physically, mentally, emotionally or spiritually detrimental towards myself or my friends and loved ones.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
MOVIES horror, sci-fi and comedy. but good comedy. satire and black humour, not toilet humour or gratuitously un-pc jokes. racism, sexism and homophobia not welcome. Top five films - Dogma, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Children of Men, V for Vendetta, and Breakfast Club
MUSIC eclectic tastes, new punk, classic rock and metal, pop, cheese, dance, pretty much anything that isn't urban. it just does nothing for me.
FOOD chinese, french, italian, indian. Fusion. Random mixes like cheese and peanut butter sandwiches, and marmite and mayonnaise on toast. I'm a vegetarian, but I don't like many vegetables. therefore a mind attuned to and good at improvising and creating in the kitchen and other places is vital!
The six things I could never do without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I also have a borderline morbid obsession with the concept of oblivion and it's implications in my life and the lives of others.
On a typical Friday night I am
Technically, I am a catering assistant employed by a small catering company.
Strictly speaking, I work on a burger van owned by a friend, friday and saturday nights. Not very glamorous, I know, but it keeps the wolf from the door. Usually!
And yes, I do appreciate the irony of being a vegetarian who serves meat for a living, but as I previously mentioned, I am a master in the art of orwellian doublethink!!!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Erm, I don't know. Ask me anything and you will more than likely get a one hundred percent honest answer.
That has got to be one of my biggest faults, and best attributes - unflinching honesty.
